2012: Unofficial GWJ Secret Santa 6.0 feat. Trichy Claus

I've got some ideas for my Stantee, but I'm still ruminating on some things. I'll make sure they get there in time for the holidays, I just need to come up with something really cool.

The first gift for my Stantee will be purchased tomorrow. The others will be put in the mail in a week or so, and the final one depends on when a third party can get around to their role.

I'm out of town until next week with no Internet access, except for on my phone. Makes stalking my Stantee pretty difficult. I do have some ideas, but want to do more research before committing to it.

Dear Stanta, I have an Amazon Wish List that you should be able to find and a general list at http://redjenosu.com/wp/wish-list

I also have an amazon wishlist.

It's huge.

That's what she....

Ah, never mind.

Dimmerswitch, there's just no way you can out-do last year. That was some pretty perfect gift-giving right there. But I'm sure you will come up with something terrific for your new Stantee.

I'm still busy stalking. I have a few ideas for my victim, but haven't quite made my mind up yet.

Aaaand, my victim should get their present in a couple of days. As I get tracking info I will post it here, solely for the tormenting.

And, as I mentioned before, my wishlist can be found on my blog (www.mudbunny.ca)

Well I'm all bought up, but it appears as though one of the parts of my gift may not get to me till late December! WHAT tHE HEcK!?
A month shipping from the US?

Anyways, I'll send along my artist rendition of the gift if it looks like it will be taking too long.

My giftee is very selfish. I've stalked this person and they never talk about the things they want. It's mostly just actual responses and thoughtful conversation. f*ck this. Think about MEEEEEE! I'M YOUR SANTAAAAAAAA!

I'm having the same issues right about now.

I know I am not your Santee, lol.

I need to do more stalking speaking of Secret Stan responsibilities.

I will tell you people one thing I do NOT want - a wired xbox controller with turbo buttons to make achievement whoring easier.

Spoiler:

I do want one of those.

To make things easier for my Stan - I really like about everything:) Especially fun bar stuff. Also zombies. And Xbox.

I need one, too. No way am I sitting through weeks of Luxor 2 conscious.

Sigh, I have no idea what to get my Stantee:(

If only SallyNasty's Stan could buy him achievements directly.

I need to figure out what to get my person. I have one idea but I need more.

If you want, just buy me a whole bunch of things that you are thinking of, and I will send back the ones that I would recommend. I will take care of the proper disposal of the remaining presents.

Shut up and use your children.

The cats have no opposable thumbs. Or were you referring to when Future Chris loses his mind and gets the vasectomy reversed? That bastard is every bit as crafty as I am, but with more experience and resources.

My only advantage is first-strike capability, which I used 8 years ago.

If my Santa is having a hard time with my "anything is fine list", I'll toss out a few tidbits; I like video game/pop culture items to put on my desk at work. Currently I have NECA Bioshock, Gordon Freeman and T2 figures on my desk. I think my co-workers enjoy learning about how Big Daddies protect Little Sisters from splicers and how head crabs turn people into zombies. I also like clever XL shirts that reference move/pop culture. I hope that helps, but honestly I'm cool with anything.

Dear Secret Stan,

I really am cool with most things. I love to travel and enjoy interesting things from your part of the globe. If that fails you ( ) I play LoTRO, can knit a mean scarf, grow my own kitchen herbs and love to cook.

Happy Shopping!

I'm just laughing at how earlier on it was all, "I want my stanta to be sneaky - that's where the fun is!" to "Dear stanta, I'm sorry for being so vague...."

The thing that always got me about that is, some people (like me) just aren't THAT creative; at least give me a ballpark to work in.

See, normally I have no issues with figuring out awesome gifts to give people, and believe I was pretty successful the last two years with this. This I am kinda at a loss:(

I think in my case I'm just experiencing the consequences of sticking mostly to video game and movie discussion threads.

Just in case someone out there needs some ideas, I do have an amazon wishlist. There's not much on it at the moment, but I'll be working on adding more stuff to it over the next few days.

I, too, have a wishlist: http://amzn.com/w/2V5L0OQ9R1MT5

Note: this is my actual wishlist, obvs. I'm not putting a $700 camera on the Secret Santa wishlist

If my Santee's at a complete loss (much like myself) here's a little hint..

All these wish lists. I'm kind of hoping my person puts his up as well.

It was a pretty fabulously lucky draw, I'll admit.

Speaking of - how's Vinnie doing these days? Miss seeing that little fella.
