NFL 2012 Week 10 Thread

Man, I really didn't expect the Titans to just dismantle the Dolphins.

Me neither.

I doubt they'll pull it off but I'm rooting so hard for the Bills right now.

That was too close. Why do the Patriots play games like that so close?

No pass rush whatsoever.

Read a thing this morning about how LA is allegedly interested in the Panthers. Or maybe Jerry Richardson leaked the LA thing, whether it's true or not, because he's planning to shake down Charlotte for a new stadium.

After watching the Panthers let Von Miller and the Broncos D have their way with Cam Newton this afternoon, I'm willing to help 'em move. Anyone have any boxes I can have?

Being a Tampa fan is like having a heart attack every week. If you throw out the score of the Chiefs game and only count the 8 games they've played against real NFL teams, Tampa has outscored their opponents 222-199 this year, 23 points in 8 games. Less than a FG a game. The four losses are by a combined 22 points.

Also, I'd like to thank Philip Rivers for throwing possibly the worst INT I've ever seen. Late in the game, needing a score, and while going out of bounds, he just tosses the ball to a wide-open Leonard Johnson who is literally standing five yards up the sideline from him. The guy wasn't moving, the guy wasn't screened, Rivers just threw it to him, boom, pick-six. This Johnson kid is a UFA rookie who has started the last three games, and gotten a pick in each.

Alex Smith is out with a concussion.

Bring on the Kaepernick era!

So is Vick, bring on the Foles era!

Jeez even the announcers hate Tebow.

They're going on a 2-min rant about how Tebow coming in for only one play hurts poor Sanchez, and makes it so hard for the offense. Meanwhile the play was a busted pass play that Tebow scrambled 7 yards for to get a first down. Seems more like Sanchez is disrupting Tebow's rhythm by him only getting one play. :p

EDIT: Yep. Incomplete, thrown way high, on 2nd and long. Sacked on 3rd and long. Oh Sanchez, so terrible.

Things getting ugly in Philly quick.

Colin just ran for a TD for SF. 3 point game!

The Rams manage to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Ugh. Tie is like kissing your ugly horned sheep sister.

Not having a dog in the race, I was rooting for the tie.

Man i initially picked Vikings to win but kept reading how banged up the position players were all week so changed it Sat

Hey, give the Rams credit, they really worked to not win that game. Very impressively unimpressive.

Wow. Bears takeaway 7 seconds into the game.

EDIT: Nevermind. He was down.

Damn you Akers. I like him but I'm starting to think he's too old and or losing his touch.

Philly thought he was when they let him go. But since then he's been mostly spectacular in SF.

Freaking every player on the offense that isn't Cutler is just sucking tonight.

Sigh.

Akers was very solid but he's missed six FG's so far this year.

Watching the game, I took that stuff as less hate for Tebow and more dislike of the system of subbing them in and out. Basically, if you're gonna go to Tebow, make the switch already and get an offense in there that'll work with him at qb.

So looks like the drive that never ends in the 1st quarter hehe

I'd like to see Eli's numbers like they just showed for Cutler. He's always making 4th quarter comebacks after digging a hole.

Hope y'all are just loving this defensive struggle mud bowl too much to post tonight. Texans just need to stop the Bears here to seal the deal.

I was rooting for the tie in the SF game - it's not often that you can watch your division rivals lose twice in one game.

As I Giants fan, I vote for a petition that no team from the NFC East is allowed to make the playoffs. Giants are ****ing horrible today. Living in PA, I wish I didn't get to watch them today. Might turn to the Red Zone.

The game is blacked out here so I can't watch and can't be bothered to listen on the radio. Is Cinci actually playing that well or are the Giants just self destructing?

I'd say both. Cincy has looked good but the Giants (Eli in particular) have played like crap too.

But wait, how can that be, THE MANNINGS GET ALL THE CALLS!!!!! RIGHT GURU?!?!?! Seriously, Eli looks like crap today, not sure what it is about playing in November. Only saving grace is that the Giants still don't look worse than the Eagles.

Fact: The Phillies have won a game more recently than the Eagles.

stop your crying..good lord...this is the standard Giants move...just getting everyone lazy so they can pounce on them in Jan. Even so if you don't win this year you will win the following...

I almost posted yesterday that I thought Panthers' head coach Ron Rivera might get the ax this week because Carolina was just so bad Sunday.

Then I figured, nah, I'm overreacting in the heat of the game.

But my instincts were more right on than I figured: Carolina just canned its special teams coach.

So I guess Jerry Richardson will just keep firing people until Rivera's the last guy in the office.

Woot! First 5-0 week!

No crying here Guru, just pointing out that you said last week the Mannings get all the calls, even though it was 1 game out of 10 this year where Eli Manning got the benifit of some crap calls. Not to mention the fact that the one game he did get calls in New York's favor, the Giants lost. But I do like how you call what I did crying, but you whining like a little girl because the refs made some bad calls last week for the Giants is perfectly ok.

I won't win anything, I don't play for the Giants. Funny thing is, I'll have just as many Super Bowl rings as the Eagles have after this season is over, and I'm ok with that.
