Does it scale even further with more players? ie. MP4 with 4 players is a lot harder than MP4 solo or does MP trump multiplayer scaling?

I thought they'd gotten rid of enemy scaling in groups though? Or was that just damage output and not health?

The reduced the health scaling but it's still there. The damage scaling is gone though.

I've been playing some 1.05 on my Demon Hunter and must say I am impressed with what they have done. The game finally is reaching a sweet spot. Loot is flowing much more freely and AH prices seem to be coming down for all but the very high end stuff. I was able to pick up a full Natalya's set and am rocking MP2 with only the very occasional death. I've switched my skill set up a bit and dropped hungering arrow, elemental arrow and smokescreen for bola shot, shadow power and the hog pet. I can keep shadow power up for many of the boss fights and it allows me to tank through some difficult situations. For the first time I think a lot of skill variations are becoming very viable.

How do people feel about a casual MP1/2 run tonight at 9 PM EST?

I'd also like to give a shout out to one Mr. Brock Samson, who tried to add me to his friendlist but whose friendlist is unfortunately full.

I would love to, but I dont' know what time that is Central.

That looks like 8 PM for Central, Grenn.

I have tagged this page and will refer to it whenever trying to figure out timezones in the future. You just taught a man to fish, Thirteenth.

I've been having a really easy time progressing with all of my characters but my barb which had been my best character before. He just seems super week and dies easily. I really don't even come close to dying with any of my other four characters unless I do something stupid. I'm not really sure what happened there.

I'll probably be on.

As usual, my sarcasm-dar fails me when it matters most.

Woo, I just got the infernal machine plan and have all 3 keys!

No sarcasm. I speak the truth.

Fun was had!

I didn't get sh*t for drops but I got a lot of xp and had fun. I'll be hacking Thirteenth's account to steal that set mojo.

I really didn't notice much of a difference between MP2 and MP3 so I would say MP4 might be the best starting point for groups.

Its so crazy it just might work!

Ole Goat and I have been sending our witch doctors into Act 1 MP3 and having a blast. Added more of you to my friends list. If you are on would love to group up. Also, I haven't actually finished inferno (about halfway through act 3), so if anyone wants to just try to wrap up the game on , I'd be happy to do that as well.

edit *oop found it up thread, don't mind me*

So, I got nothing useful last night running MP2/3 but I got three legendaries running MP0 for a couple hours this afternoon. What?

Ive gotten a Legendary each of the last 3 times I have played (1-2 hour playtime each), though I have yet to see a set item ever. Nice to see the drop rate increased.

Congrats!

I had to fight both Azmodan and Diablo three times each tonight because I'm stupid. On Azmodan, I twice got one-shot by fireballs that I misjudged the distance on just as he was about to die. On Diablo, I twice got caught in cages when he had just a sliver of health left. The first time I died before he put me down (from full health). The second time, I assumed I was going to die so I took my hands off the keyboard and mouse only to get put down with a couple hundred health left but I wasn't able to move or heal because I'm dumb. Whatever. Down to four characters I need to beat inferno with (excluding my hardcore guy).

Any suggestions on how to decently equip my 60(8) DH on a budget? I managed to snag a low end legacy natalya's shadow for cheap along with a cheap 968 dps, int based dual socket manticore to at least get me by . Everything else is just so damn pricy that I can't really fathom farming that much cash and I'm certainly not shelling out 100s of dollars per item on the RMAH.

There are good deals to be had on low end legendaries. I highly recommend an inquisitor (preferably 3-socket). You can pick one for $100,000 or more depending on what your willing to settle for. Also, consider an andariels visage (try to get one with low +fire damage), hellcat waistguard and strongarm bracers. If your willing to be patient, you can also pick up some good mid-level rare gear for $10-20k.

I just had a legendary mighty belt drop with intelligence on it. The f*ck?

Yay me, I finally finished Inferno. I "invested" a bit of gold on a new weapon and helm that work great for my WD's playstyle, and can breeze through Act 1 and 2 on MP3 and Act 3 and 4 on MP2. Now I'm working on getting my parts for Infernal Machine. Have Act 1 and 2 parts, need act 3 and the plans.

Also, had a fun run with BrainHz earlier and we tried the Infernal Machine twice on MP1. 1st was a bit of a pain as we drew Ghom and Rakanoth, but we managed to down them. 2nd time was a bit easier as we got Leoric and Maghda. Unfotunately neither dropped a part for the ring, but at least we were able to give it a go and down 2 rounds of the Machine.

It's called random for a reason.

Increased resistances?

With 150 hours under my Witch Doctor's belt, I only had 1 legendary drop. After a few hours last night, raise that total to 4! That's right, three legendary drops in 2.5 hours. Random really is random.

I've been trying to avoid the AH as much as possible, but finally broke down and purchased a legendary mojo for 100,000 gold that increases my pick-up radius by 20 yards. OMG! Where have you been all my life, mojo! Combined with the passive that gives you bonus intelligence for health globes, my overall dps (and thus killing speed) has skyrocketed. I'm making gold at a rate I didn't even know was possible.

Thanks Hollowheel. I just hit 60 on my Witch Doctor (my first 60) and I was wondering what to splurge my money on. The 20 yard gold hoovering is wonderful!

If you just hit 60, I would start with a weapon. I grabbed a legendary ceremonial knife Last Breath, for under 500k that suits my playstyle perfectly. It was a little cheaper than most of the other ones, but that's because not many other WDs use toads and I do so I grabbed one with +13% toad damage and a decent chunk of vitality.

If you just want a "starter" wep for 60 I have an 870 dps ceremonial knife lying around that you are more than welcome to have along with some other INT/Vital/Resist gear. Just look me up and i'll be happy to send it your way.
