NFL Losers Pool Week 8

It looks like the bloodletting subsided a bit in week 7. And it looks like a few of us managed to squeak by if only barely.

willhouse4078 had a bit of a scare, but his Bengals managed to keep their record against the Steelers free of another win.
boogle picked twice, taking the Saints and the Steelerswho both managed to win. Doh.
Kush15 and karmaJay took the Browns and it paid off.
HansomB1derfu joins LeapingGnomel, whose Rams turned out to be a great choice survives another week.
Secret Asian Man chose wisely with the Ravens in what turned out to be the most decisive of outcomes last week.
Elliottx was the only one to take the Jets despite it being a relatively safe choice on paper. He too is safe.
Lucky Wilbury went big with the 49ers and paid for it.
Zaque spun the chambers and came up safe with the Redskins. It was a scare though.

And I live another week with the Jags losing in overtime to Sebastian Janokowski.

This week is....

Bucs at Vikes. Okay, this one is the cherry pick. The Bucs are horrible and the Vikes are good at home.
Phins at Jets. Neither is terribly good, but the slight edge in my book goes to the Jets to screw this up.
Bolts at Browns. Normaly, I would say the Bolts will win in a landslide, but I never like travelling all the way across the country.
Colts at Titans. Titans are pathetic.
Jags at Pack. If I thought ahead, I would have saved the Jags for this week. Sigh.
Falcons at Eagles. You got to like the Falcons here, but the Eagles are desperated and tough at home.
Skins at Steelers. Normally, I would go with the Steelers, but RGIII is still the live round spinning in the cylinder.
Hawks at Lions. A sucker bet either way.
Panthers at Bears. Bears are tough and the Panthers aren't. Plus, the Panthers are playing like a beaten team.
Raiders at Chiefs. The Raiders needed OT to beat a pathetic team that travelled all the way across the country to play them in Oakland.
Giants at Cowboys. Cowboys are tough at home, but who knows which Romo will show up.
Pats at Rams. Gotta like the Pats here, but they aren't the dominant team they used to be.
St.s at Broncos. Nuts.
49ers at Cards. The Niners are not looking so hot as of late, but I like their chances here. Cards might not be a bad bet this week.

Gimme the Panthers.

Double loss, double the flavor.

I'm not too proud to take the Jags this week. Rodgers is my fantasy QB also, so I've got some extra incentive to pull for the Pack, might as well go all in.

Jags lose to the Pack.

Jaguars - Going easy this week, I might have gone with a different team but with MJD and Yo Gabba Gabbert being out it's a lock.

Jaguars

going out on a limb here guve me the cowboys

No surprise that the Jags are the overwhelmingly favorite choice as sacrificial lamb. There have been some crazy upsets this year, but I doubt this will be one of them.

Jags

Jags

Jaguars!

Not that this would ever happen, but if the Jags manage to beat the Packers, this could be the greatest bloodletting in loser pool history.

Such is the danger in a statistical monoculture.

I would love that more than anything, but with no MJD and Gabbert...maybe Heine will show up Tannehill.

I'll take the Cards to be different. Their O-line is terrible and the game is won in the trenches.

Wow. And to think I was toying with taking the Bucs.

Wow did I just squeak by or what?

The Pack had me sweating a bit.

Not as comfy a win as it should have been.

We all managed to squeak by by scrotum skin.
