The Linux version of TF2 is also near. Get your Linux clients ready because I suspect there will be another time limited item similar to the Mac earbuds.

But 'everyone' knows that so the item won't be worth anything. Bills and Buds are so valuable because they were limited items before trading even happened.

Maybe, but I also look at it like...a large portion of TF2 players don't even know what Linux is or how to install it. In that case that portion won't have access to the item and will want it afterwards when it's tradeable.

It is for this reason, and this reason only, that I just looked up the state of hardware 3D acceleration through Virtualbox.

(Spoiler: it works for OpenGL, which is what I presume Valve will use.)

Ukick logged into my account to get buds back at the Mac launch, so I suppose I should attempt to pay it forward if there are indeed Linux-based rewards.

I like Brian's idea with tboons modifier :), I don't like just strict class limits though since we screw around a lot, especially in warmup / koth maps. I think it would also help if we make the little popup of rules just say 3rd spy / sniper on non-koth maps gets kicked, and have that be the only thing there, the rest of the rules should be self explanatory and no chance anyone reads the whole list.

The plugin can be configured per map and depending on how many players are in at the time.
