What are you playing this weekend?

Aside from BJJ

A fellow player!

Curiously, I just got back into the game after about a year's hiatus this week. Rolling after a year off is not encouraging at all hahaha.

I'll be playing some Dark Souls and Nier, I believe. Have to get character's primed for the former's DLC and then just continue with the story in the latter, which is quite good aside from some voice acting snags - thought it's mostly entertaining, nontheless.

XCOM by myself.

Torchlight 2 with my buddies.

League of Legends with even more of my buddies.

Dark Souls.

Maybe some xcom or one of the adventure games I've not decided on.

Still fairly new to it - I trained in Kempo for a few years, then did a decade of Aikido, and have been boxing/kickboxing for the past 3. I'm ~2 months into BJJ, but finding it interesting.

Retro City Rampage

How are you liking that so far? I'm quite intrigued by it.

It's a wonderful sport/game/martial art. A steep climb in the beginning... and then it keeps getting tougher (kinda like Dark Souls, eh?) but is fun beyond any other martial art I have practiced.

I started with Taekwondo when I was in elementary and quickly moved onto stuff like Jeet Kune Do and Kyokushin since - little aggro kid that I was - I didn't feel like TKD was fight-ey enough hehehe. I eventually moved on to Muay Thai and Wrestling back in 1996 and my main trainer got me into Vale Tudo (anything goes) that same year when it was all fairly new to anyone outside of Brazil or Japan. Did No-Gi informally for ages before actually caring about getting a belt.

Haven't done much progress since getting into BJJ formally about 3 years ago - broken ribs and torn ligaments will do that -, but it's addictive. Luckily, I've got really good teachers down here (they consistently go to train with Renzo's crew in NY), so what little I do learn with my limited time, I know is good tech.

Hmm. Just completed NSMB 2, so maybe not.

Watch GiantBomb's quick look on this - you'll thank me later

Finishing up the DLC and a hardcore run of Fallout New Vegas, then Walking Dead Episode 4, then it'll be time to finish up Syndicate.

Can't talk now, have to go play XCOM!

Batman Arkham City, Metal Slug 6, (via the Wii Metal Slug Anthology to round out playing all of them) Firefall, and maybe something else.

Civ5 God & Kings (thanks to my wife for the early birthday present)

League of Legends double IP weekend. Im going to try and beat it. ^_^

Looks like Neuroshima Hex along with another attempt to find a different group online for Tabletop RPG's.

Good times.

Had to look at the image names for both of those Garden Ninja.

I got a stay of execution from working this weekend so I have no idea what I'm doing. Android: Netrunner, Infiltration or Dominion for board games, and maybe some Borderlands 2, World of Goo, Binding of Isaac or Kirby's Dream Collection?

Dishonored, maybe some Mark of the Ninja, probably beating New Super Mario Bros. 2

I will somehow find a way to finish a small 6 page essay, complete a group work assignment, spend time with my 6mon old and wife, and then play the new segment of walking dead.

Really want to try to find the time to get through a whole single player session of Mage Knight. Also, more XCom.

It's Thursday, you jerks. Ask again tomorrow and stop getting my hopes up.

Sorry, I believe it was my fault this week.

Huh. I would have thought Dragon Age would be recognizable.

Dangit... why did I open this thread? Now I want to play Dragon Age right now.

Played it on the 360, which doesn't allow for top-down viewing. I didn't recognize it either.

Every Western fantasy game looks identical. You didn't honestly think we could spot a specific one, did you?

I think I need a, "That's our Clocky!" graphic, like from a cheesy 80's sitcom.

Actually, yeah, I thought Dragon Age specifically was popular enough that it would be recognized.

Although, mostly I was thinking the Ogre design was iconic enough that it would tip people off, but that screenshot does a crappy job at showing that design off.

Hey, I recognized it. (I'm not sure why Clocky thinks Western RPGs all look alike?)
