What are you playing this weekend?

Maybe some Borderlands 2, then playing the airport security game on the way to the Happiest Place on Earth (tm).

Amsterdam?

Hoping to play Magic in some form, and finally start RDR: Undead Nightmare now that the Halloween season is upon us.

I was hoping Birth By Sleep would have arrived today, but hope has failed me yet again in this cold, cruel world. So probably back to Tales of Graces F.

I'll be doing a Walking Dead Season 2 marathon this weekend (starting now!) with the wife. Aside from that, more Borderlands 2.

I'm really enjoying Torchlight 2 with my co-op buddies. Three engineers for the win! I also started Cthulhu Saves the World for no apparent reason.

League of Legends watching and playing this weekend also.

Playing the job interview game this morning, and it's a long ride to get there. Working tonight and taking my fiance to the movies tomorrow.

In between some Guild Wars 2 as usual, a bit of Prototype and World in Conflict.

Awesome. I'm halfway through the season, and so far, I'm not disappointed!

Speaking of, I have Episode 3 of The Walking Dead I still need to play; were it not for Borderlands 2 and Torchlight 2, I'd be all over it.

I'll be working on Duels of the Plainswalkers, as well as trying to finish up my play through of Torchlight. Mostly though, I'll be waiting for XCOM to launch on midnight Tuesday morning.

Welp, since I just got a copy of the second game sent to me, it looks like some of this weekend will also be spent with the classic Rules of Engagement games.

After playing "fight with the missus simulator" all week-long (I managed to get the good ending!:D), I will now move to "down beers with the buds". Maybe some fighting games and the like with them as well, so as to keep the instincts sharpish.

I'll be playing watch the LoL World Playoffs, assuming somebody doesn't trip over the internet cable again.

'Down beer with the buds' is the DLC that links 'Fight with the Missus 1' to 'FWTM 2', at least it was with my copy. The only way to head it off was to purchase the 'Take Her Out For a Meal' DLC.

So far:
I've put some more time into Scribblenauts. It's interesting, but after 20-25 maps, I'm beginning to doubt if it can hold my interest for all 230 or so maps.

Started Bastion and am loving the soundtrack. Recovered two cores so far.

Friday at work I got a big hankering to hook up the Saitek X-52 and dive into a sim. Perhaps IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, or finally try to learn LOMAC. Then again, BSG: Diaspora is already installed... On the other hand, I've never installed Silent Hunter 3, in spite of buying it almost at release. Whether I actually get to any of these is doubtful, though.

I think I managed to prevent that issue all together by getting the "Girls Night Out" patch. It preoccupies the pesky "nag" bugs that made "down beers with the buds" previously incompatible. Let us hope there's no undiscovered bugs! XD

I've found that, while certain aspects of Wife 1.0 were kind of educational, upgrading to Wife 2.0 had greatly increased stability and the level design is an order of magnitude more well-balanced. I have merged small patches over this product cycle, but these tended to be results of my maturation as a developer as much as emergent maturation of the code base itself.

Well, Borderlands 2 for me.. I wish the DLC will be here sooner, but only have 1 main character, and haven't finish the game yet.

Looking into TL2 as well. Will be the next game to play.

Eating some brahmin burgers & roaming the wasteland in Fallout 2.

Since I've put my hat in for the DC:SS Tournament coming up, I'm working on my DC:SS skills (not that I'm that good, but maybe, maybe I can get my first win during the tournament)

Xcom and Dishonoured. Lots of both, since it FINALLY unlocks in the UK tomorrow (big ol' F**k you to brick n' mortar stores for that continuing annoyance).

Also I ordered a copy of Silent Hill : Downpour since I need something (vaguely) horror related to play and I was fed up waiting for it to show up in local stores (once again - screw you B&M's). Hopefully that shows up soon.

And picked up The Book of Unwritten Tales where I left off. 13(!) hours into it now. For an adventure game it's pretty damned long and thankfully most of those 13 hours have been really quite charmingly entertaining.

Probably more Borderlands 2 as well.

I honestly dunno. Drox Operative got a buncha patching love recently, so I'll likely give that a shot, but I have more Sword of the Stars II and Rules of Engagement 2 to play for the blog.

XCOM, once the bleedin' thing unlocks.

Actually, scratch The Book of Unwritten Tales - I was only about 20min or so from the end (great game but damn, that's one abrupt ending! - 14 hours long though so I can't complain about it being too short ).

Also apparently SH: Downpour has a delivery date of 2nd November 0_o. Didn't realise they were actually shipping the thing FROM Silent Hill itself. Oh well...

I'm undecided whether to continue on to the first expansion pack of Stronghold or Bounce around to Settlers 7. Either way it'll be one of those, and continuing playing FIFA 13 as well.

Hoping to finish

So that I can start

And maybe make some progress on

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will be the main focal point of my attention, and I think I'm getting close to beating Aliens: Infestation on the (3)DS. I might start some time in El Shaddai as well.

Magic: Return to Ravnica home draft with some folks, and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare to celebrate the spooky season!

Also Burnout Revenge with my three year-old daughter, which is almost a daily activity at this point.

I'll be playing the dress up and go to a wedding game on Saturday. But hopefully sneaking in some LoL world championships.

I have a *rare* family-free 3-day weekend coming up. What do I choose, Dishonored or XCOM? Meatiness of XCOM sounds appealing, but the narrative ride and gorgeous visuals/sound of Dishonored has its appeal. Any suggestions.

Due to the burden of an old Mac laptop as my home computer, I'm relying on Xbox for this.
