Can Colorado remain unbeaten against a one win UNLV team?

Indiana breaks into the top 25 over the last two weeks? The end is nigh, my friends...

Picked up another instant commit from an OLB. I only have 4 scholarships left, but 5 guys on my board. Two are definite stretches, but I'm likely to get a 4* OT. I've had some good recruiting love this season. In fact, I'll probably not have to recruit a kicker or punter until NCAA 14!

So, I'm set for the Big-10 championship game next week, and it looks like Iowa is the competition. Although Iowa, MSU, and Wisconsin all have a 5-3 conference record, Iowa beat both of the others.

Who else is in a conference championship game?

I should be in the Conference Championship for the Pac12. Not sure who I will play, but it could be a rematch against USC.

Trying to pickup the number 1 punter recruit. I have 6 scholarships left and I am trying to get some 4 star talent into the mix.

What is his rating? My punter came out with a rating of 77, which could start after this coming year. If your guy is even higher rated, that's pretty impressive. I also snagged a 78-rated kicker.

As I've said, I've got about 5-6 players that could be close to starting next year...but only because my talent level is not huge (although my current players are almost all young).

After the scouting he is rated 83, with 91 kick power. He may be my kicker and punter next year if I get him. AND... I apologize, he is the second ranked punter. Not the first.

If I lose to UNLV...I deserve to be busted to custodial manager of some obscure div 3 team.

Also...I got a gem of a FS...rated 79 overall with 3 star caliber. I didnt worry to much with recruiting this year because with the exception of two LBs, one TE, and one OL all my starters will be back next year, so...epic.

I have to totally rebuild my defense since two strong safeties, 2 defensive tackles and a linebacker are leaving. I don't look to much for stars anymore. There is one guy I am looking at that is a 1 star WR but has 97 speed. I am trying to get him a track scholarship so I don't have to use a football scholarship on him.

Where are we on this week?

Ohio needs to recruit, then we can roll.

Conine, are you around?

Indiana (snicker snicker) are the Big 10 champions (snicker snicker)! That seems highly unlikely, but it came after a pasting of Iowa in the championship game, 37-14. It wasn't all easy, as I actually had to use my placekicker for several FGs, although most from within the redzone.

After the first run of the game, I noticed that my star HB only needed about 260 yards to get to 2000 yards rushing for the season. Unfortunately he fell short by about 33 yards, running for 233 yards on 35 carries. Oh well.

My defense forced 5 turnovers, including 4 INTs. It only recovered 1 fumble but forced 2 others. They held Iowa to 5 yards rushing on 11 attempts (this includes -10 yards in 4 sacks). So, Iowa didn't really even try to get the run game going: their HB rushed 7 times versus 35 pass attempts.

So, it looks like IU is headed to the Rose Bowl...perhaps to meet Shag and his Bulldogs, depending on how the Pac12 championship game goes. That would be a nice bit of symmetry, since my first game of the season was against Fresno St.

Fresno State pummels USC 38-10 as the offense was too much for USC to handle. Fresno State wins the PAC12 Championship and should get a rematch of the opening game of the season against Indiana.

What was the score of that game again?

What was the score of that game again?

Ouch...what a troll!!

For the record, it was 25-21, Fresno. But, to be fair, that was when my QB was too busy looking at cheerleaders to know what to do with his team. He's still looking, only now he occasionally throws a nice pass, as well.

SMU versus Southern Miss is all we have left.

I'm gone Thursday through Sunday night late. Kush, I suspect we'll have to wait to play until Monday or after.

Kush? Monday is actually fine. I am away til Sunday working my in-laws Fall Feast party that they have for their neighbors.

Did I really write Kush? I don't think I've played him in three years of this game.

Sorry guys I have been busy with work these past two weeks. I will try to play tomorrow evening its the best I can do.

C'mon Bonney!

We are waiting on you to advance.

Ok playing right now.

Sorry for the hold up.

We can roll Zell when you are ready!

Oh wow...was looking at the upcoming game against SMU....Colorado has the best Offense in the country, compared to Southern Miss' best Defense in the country in terms of yardage. Who will come out on top for the BCS championship? Its going to be an interesting game.

When do you want to try to play?

firesloth,

Let me know when you can play. I can play most evenings after 9pm EST after the kids are in bed.

You show up as away right now! We could aim for tomorrow late. After 10:30 is usually best for me. I could do tomorrow. Maybe Friday. After that it'd have to be Monday.

We will shoot for tomorrow at 10:30 or maybe even now?

Fresno State is defeated by Indiana 31-24. It was a back and forth game that came down to one thing. Dropped passes.

11 all together for Fresno State that halted drives and kept the Bulldogs from tying it up in the end.

Good game firesloth. Now choke on that Rose Bowl trophy.

Holy cow, what a crazy game. Great game, Shag. I don't know what your WRs drank before playing, but they dropped everything!

IU beats Fresno State, 31-24.

This game was a tale of two halves. Indiana owned the first half (mostly), while Fresno St. held the ball for the vast majority of the second half. IU was up 24-10 going into the half, although it could have been 24-3 if it weren't for a kickoff return TD by Shag at the very end of the first half. I miffed the kick and the coverage, and Shag took advantage of some nice seams.

The second half belonged to FSU, as Shag and company moved the ball very well and scored 14 points. FSU was twice driving late in the game, only to be upended by INTs. At one point I thought the game was won for IU, but Shag forced a fumble by my star HB just after I got the ball back following a failed 4th down conversion.

Man, I wish they kept dropped pass stats, because Shag got hosed all night.

Thanks for playing so late, Shag!
