Post a picture of your pet!

Love it! My dog loves going to the vet. We're lucky.

We have a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix that is super cute all the time, but he really kicked it up a notch or two last night. He likes to burrow in the blankets. We caught him wrapped up like a burrito, using a plushie as a pillow.

I am not a fan of Chihuahua's, but man is that a cute photo! I would love to see a full body shot of what a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix looks like.

We lost Larry on Saturday morning. Could tell by his eyes he was ready to go, and the tumor in his throat had come back very quickly. Doctor said he was gone before she got half of the medicine in.

RIP, little buddy. I hope you're sweeping legs in heaven, and know that the Yellow Oyster is flying its rainbow flag at half-staff.

So sorry.

Aww, so sorry. Good looking guy there and you treated him well.

This is when he's not pillaging.

I'm so sorry. I know you've been there before but nothing quite prepares you for the loss. Our hearts are with you though.

Thinking of you B-Eunice.

I'm so sorry, Bonus. That's exactly what the doctor said to me when I had to let my dog go years ago.
Sending you lots of warm thoughts and love.

We turned on the cat TV.

It's the cat's house, we just pay the rent.

I hear that.

Our oldest cat Lasher never paid attention to the television but that all changed when we got a 50" plasma. Now she watches the Oasis HD nature channel every morning.

Don't forget about buying the food and cleaning the boxes. It's the life of a serf.

Just got a kitten (5 months old) last weekend.

Does a video set to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole background music count?

Also, picture:

Reece, pronounced like the chocolate.

I'm hijacking the thread. We just lost the most amazing and special dog ever. Her name was Tippy and she was the best, snake killing, hole digging, everything chewing, escape artist ever. I loved her very much but her wild nature got the better of her when she managed to dig out and dislodge a paver bigger and heavier than her and got out onto the road this afternoon. She got rushed to the vet but she didn't survive the night. There is a Tippy shaped hole in our world now and the saddest part is that my son is too young to remember his best friend. She really loved him.

We miss you Tippy. Sleep well good dog.

I'm so sorry Prozac. I know what it's like to lose a dog you love so much. She looks really cute, and it sounds like her personality more than matched that.

Aww. I'm so sorry, Prozac.

Sorry Prozac.

My condolences, Prozac. Losing a dog is tough; lots of love and good vibes. She sounds like she was an amazing dog.

So sorry to hear it, Prozac.

I'm so sorry about Tippy, Prozac. She looked like a super sweet dog. *hugs*

Bonus & Prozac: Sorry for your loss. I lost my beloved cat Soma to an untimely car many years ago and I still think about her.
I have to ask, though; what's the paver you refer to? When I think of a paver I think of those enormous steamroller looking vehicles that the department of transportation uses. The thought of that smallish dog dislodging one is quite impressive!

*EDIT*

I thought I'd throw in an image of my girlfriend attempting to stuff our puss Fina into a Biscotti can (She's a bit older now, but I still love this image.)

Whenever this thread arises I always wonder about lunabean. Has anyone seen/heard from her in awhile?

Other than the knife in the chest, I think she is doing OK.

I'm sorry for your losses Bonus and Prozac. May their memories be for a cute li'l fuzzy blessing.

I just lost my best buddy of 11 years to a coyote 2 days ago and I'm still just numb. My father used to say my cat thought he was a dog. He would follow me around, help me with things and hold entire conversations. Usually I'm the big tough guy but today I still feel like tearing up.
