FF2012: GWJFFL Week 3

Good lord, I'm having a terrible week. My dynasty team is doing ok but I don't really care about that one this year. It seems the Saints forgot how to use Sproles.

Dammit. Benched Nate Washington for Brian Hartline thinking the lack of Revis would turn into points. So far, nada.

CJ Spiller got hurt? NOOOOOOOO!!

So after two weeks of Donnie Avery having solid numbers and Nate Washington being pretty ho-hum, I pulled a switch today. Of course Tennessee has a shootout and Washington gets 20 on my bench, maybe costing me the game.

You're welcome, Bill_Bonney. :p

This was inevitable, really.

I can't believe I'm leading in silver after how terrible the early games went for me. If I had started Dalton over Romo like I was thinking of doing it would be a blow out. Here's hoping the Hauschka doesn't have a big game tomorrow.

Ugh your performance in the night game was crazy. Need hauscka to come through for me. Either way it looks like we'll have the highest scores this week. Great game.

Don't worry, Leap, the rest of your team came to play. I'm getting slaughtered in both leagues. I made some poor start decisions, but the absolute annihilation inflicted upon me by my opponents meant that I could have had 100% coach rating and still lost.

My keeper and gold league teams are exact opposites. I've now had the high score in the league 2 of the 3 weeks in gold but am scraping the bottom of the barrel in keeper. It's probably not a good thing when my bench outscores my starters, especially when 3 of the people on the bench were out with injuries... Though oddly enough, I still have a chance to pull out a victory if jermichael finley can outscore lynch tonight.

Again, 2 out of my 3 leagues pulled out a win for me (tonight is not a factor). Yay for my non-GWJ league, where I remain undefeated after Jamaal Charles and AJ green dominated the previous high point scorer of the last two weeks this week!

Same here. That's my consolation. I was destined for defeat this week.

Bad week to sit Jamaal Charles for me. I imagine he will suck the rest of the year too.

I may just loose tonight depending on how the Seahawks do. I'm winning by 15 points, but my opponent has Seattle WR and TE left to play. Go GB defense!

I really got screwed playing David Wilson. A sweet 1.1 points.

Didn't you get screwed playing him before? You enjoy pain don't you.

Well Bradshaw was injured and I thought he would at least be RB2 but he barley got any carries. Even on garbage time they gave the ball to the 4th backup!

He's still in the doghouse. Gotta research him every week to see if Coughlin still doesn't trust him. Hint: he doesn't.

I live in NYC and all I heard was things like "could this be Wilson's chance to step up?" Was major hype and then, nothing.

Those 20 points wouldn't of helped you this week since we had a great week all round. Up by 90 with Lynch still to play 3 more quarters

If Hauschka can just nail a 90 yard field goal right now I can stop watching and get back to playing games!

Well yeah, you missed my follow up post at the end of yesterday.

So glad I drafted Rodgers as my 2nd pick, he's been just fabulous. Seriously considering starting Peyton next week because he actually throws touchdowns.

Close game I got going on! ATM I'm 1.5 pts ahead.

It was a tough week to be in the top third of the silver league.

Made it by the skin of my teeth. Wow crazy end of the game.

Holy crap those refs are terrible. I don't understand how the NFL can keep putting this garbage out there.

Grr... and now with Spiller out (and FJax coming back soon) I need one of Andre Brown or Daniel Thomas to wrest away the starting job from Bradshaw and Bush. I still have no faith in CedBen despite him finally scoring this week.

Bush probably isn't starting for a couple of weeks. Thomas filled in nicely yesterday.

Note to self: Leaving a ton of points on the bench == really bad idea (if you are trying to win; if trying to lose it's a great strategy).
