You can take me off the league. I am only able to play after 9pm PST. Most of you guys are on the east coast.

I have the same issue.

Wings are ready

Canes ready.

Leafs ready

Side note NHL rules question - if a player is behind the blue line and poke checks the puck away from an opponent and into the offensive zone, is there any way in which he would be offside when touching the puck? I had this happen to me twice in an online game this afternoon.

So you're saying:

o <---you
------ <---blue line
o <--opponent /w puck

With the lower area being the opponent's zone? If you poke check the puck away from the opponent and your skater's skates are behind the blue line, it *shouldn't* be offsides. That being said, I've seen some questionable calls regarding offsides in the games I've played. There have been many times I've seen what appears to be offsides by my own team not be called at all. And I'm talking these guys have been completely over the line before the puck, but no offsides.

No they're not.

Okay, these owners have said they are ready to roll to the next set of games:

Jayhawker - St. Louis

Leroyog - Detroit

ColdForged - Carolina

LooseTooth - Edmonton
Magnus - Toronto

Willhouse4078 - Tampa Bay
B Dog - Islanders

CptDomano - Blackhawks

These owners need to let me know where we stand:

Boudreaux - Boston

Mr. Green - Montreal

TheCounselor - Buffalo

PsychoKillerZ - Sharks

The big weakness in this GM Connected mode is that I cannot even see your schedule and results.

I suggest next week that each owner post the games on his schedule so that I can tick them off as the results come in on the web site.

We've gotten in about 50 games altogether, so we are making good progress. I would suspect with 12 owners, we had about 60 games to pay.

Moving forward, I could also set a more firm deadline of one week. If games aren't in, we roll and they get simmed. That is not ideal, but with 82 games in the schedule, everyone will get to play as much as they want.

Right now it feels like we should get a feel for how long people want to take. I could see some guys that would want to at least wait for the weekend to get their games in.

We had a couple of west coasters drop. While I understand, I don't think anyone is going to freak out if either some games get simmed, or we wait a bit to see if schedules can be worked around. I'm a night owl, so the west coast guys would still work for me.

Boston is good to go.

Right. This is exactly what happened, and yet my skater was called offsides. MAYBE an inch of one of his skate blades was across the line. Maybe. I'll admit that it's hard to tell when you're that close, but it didn't look offsides to me.

Thanks.

From looking at the Team Report pages, it appears Buffalo, Montreal and San Jose are all done, too. They have all played at least 4 games. I will give them until this evening to either give me the go ahead or let me know if they still have a game to get in.

I'd like to roll in time to let folks play games this weekend. In fact, what would people say to Fridays at 6pm being a good time to roll each weak? That gives folks the weekend to get games in, and then the rest of the week.

Just a thought. I won't roll at 6pm without hearing from the guys this week. But the earlier the better if they check in.

6pm central? That would be fine with me--gives me enough time to get home on Friday's to get games in if I need to.

Sharks be ready.

Habs are done. 3-2-1.

Won't be home this weekend, though.

Cool! Looks like TheCounselor is the only confirmation I need. And I'm 90% sure he is ready.

The rolling is in process. I should have realized this was not going to be a quick process. NCAA 13 can take long enough to roll, and it doesn't have the worlds slowest menus.

And we are live. Here is what I would like each of you to post when each week starts. It will help me keep up with where we are at each week, since I cannot see anyone else's schedule.

Jayhawker - Blues
Colorado
@ Dallas
LA
@ San Jose
@ LA
Dallas

The plan from here on out will be to roll at 6pm every Friday. But we should also be willing wait a day or two if a couple of owners plan on getting their game in soon. Scheduling is going to be done a bit by ear starting out. Whatever feels like it accommodates the most people is what I plan to do.

Here's my schedule:

B Dog - Islanders
Toronto
@ Boston
Ottawa
@ Carolina
Dallas
@ LA

So, it looks like I've got games with magnus, Boudreaux and ColdForged this week. I'll send out some PMs to you guys re: scheduling.

EDIT: By the way, if you have an iOS device, the companion app is a handy way to see your team's schedule without having to fire up your 360.

ColdForged - Hurricanes
NY Rangers
Columbus
@ NJ
NY Islanders *
@ Buffalo *
Florida

* means against a human

Leroyog - Red Wings

San Jose*
Winnipeg
Vancouver
Calgary
Edmonton x2*

I accepted two trades from the AI and they haven't gone through. What up with that?

I believe I have e to approve them first. I also believe it won't go through until the next schedule period.

I have not seen a trade notification yet. I will check when I get home.

Cool. I just went 0-3 against the AI. Ouch.

Trades have been approved.

Is there some magic account one has to create to use this?

You just need to log in using your EA account -- the same one that you logged in with in-game to enable online play, etc.

Never mind. Figured it out.
