Playstation 4 Games Catch-All

As soon as all these features are rolled onto the Vita I am going to have a really hard time not subscribing.

I still think it wouldn't hurt to throw us PSP owners a free or discounted game every so often. There have been a few free PSP minis I guess but nothing particularly interesting.

Well, Double Dragon Neon scratch a retro spot correctly!

Well, it's not Double Dragon as I remember, but the brawl fest is fun. And there is Abobo!

I think it's odd that it doesn't include PSP or that they didn't roll a PSP+ out. Bummer, for sure.

I just got into the PS All Stars Battle Royale beta for ps3 and Vita! Did anyone else?

Maybe... I didn't realize that was still running and may have already deleted it...

If you’re already a PlayStation Plus member on PS3, you’re in luck—you will automatically be able to also enjoy all the PlayStation Plus features for your PS Vita at no extra cost.
PlayStation Plus features for PS Vita available in November will include:

Instant Game Collection: Unlimited access to a regularly refreshed selection of the full versions of games as long as your membership is active.

Discounts: Take advantage of exclusive discounts on games and DLC for your PS Vita.

Online Game Storage: An additional 1GB of online storage for game saves for PS Vita games and downloaded content.

Automatic Updates: PS Vita will automatically start up at a designated time to download and install select game demos and game updates as well as system software updates and start standby mode upon completion.

Automatic Trophy sync: Trophy information will be synched to PSN servers automatically via the PS Vita.

Maybe they'll throw in the occasional PSP game if I'm lucky!

This makes me seriously consider purchasing a Vita.

I said if Sony did this then I would be getting +.

I'm already enjoying + on PS3 and I do plan to buy a Vita at some point. It's a pity that Sony didn't have this ready for launch but at least it's here now.

So, anyone planning on picking up Tokyo Jungle next week? It looks absolutely ridiculous. I love it when stuff like this gets released here, even if I have no plans to pick it up myself.

Oh yeah, I'm all over that. It looks awesome!

Yeah, the QL sold me on it. I'd seen video of it, and heard it mentioned, but had yet to see any depth to the gameplay. Even if the mechanics stop building there, I think I'll have a fun and unique experience.

Why can't they release that on the Vita?!

Even though my ps3 is busted, I'm seriously considering getting plus once the vita stuff starts up.

Yep, it looks like it would be a great fit. All up to Sony, it's their game.

Same. I am probably going to subscribe day 1 on the Vita.

I waiting to see what the free games are. The Vita catalog isn't very large right now, I'll probably jump in on a month when they offer something I want to play.

We need a petition. Seriously. I'm buying that game as is. I'd buy it twice if I could take it with me. I like weird games.

Store Update

Tokyo Jungle 20% off for PS+, get it!

Same, start that petition.

Sweet! Ever since that quick look I've been banging my head trying to think if there was a PSP or Vita game that was similarly quirky. I'm excited for this, but I wish I had it or something like it to take portably.

Tokyo Jungle freaked my cat the f*ck out. He tried to get at the screen, knocked over my sound bar, pandemonium.

Register your PS3 with Amazon and they'll give you $5 in instant video credit.

Mine's already registered. Do I still get $?

Not sure how I'll feel about Tokyo Jungle in the twelfth hour playing it, but damn did those first two hours just fly by. It totally has that "one more turn" grip to it. You're constantly doing something in the game, whether it's stalking your prey (or graze) to eat and level up, booking it to somewhere safe, completing the basic challenges they issue which are similar to the types that are heavily integrated into most mobile games today, and trying to finish an area so you can mate and breed a new, better generation. As long as each animal you unlock has different challenges, and different story modes to unlock, I could see myself playing this game for quite a while.

I lasted 46 years, and was done in by a little ego. I thought nothing could give me a challenge at the point, but then I met

Spoiler:

Mr. Hippo and his friends. I'll say Hi next time, and not punch them.

It's too bad there's no demo, because people should be given the chance to feel just how additively fun, and tense, this quirky survival arcade game is. Thanks, Japan.

Feel the same way, cyrax. This deserves to be in the hands of as many people as possible. It might peter out quickly, but I already feel I've gotten my $15 worth. Between this game and stuff like Dark Souls and Gravity Rush I'm 100% all in on "Japanese games" right now. Well done.

Hrm, I wasn't particularly interested in it before, but from the responses you guys are giving, I gotta try this Tokyo Jungle thing out.

Register PlayStation 3 device with Amazon Instant Video for the first time between June 20, 2012 and October 31, 2012. Only first time registrations are eligible - customers who register a PlayStation 3 that was previously registered are ineligible for this promotion.

No, and I tried unregistering and re-registering mine and it didn't work. Boooooo.

I'm rich. Do you realize how much $5 can buy on Amazon?

Edit: Why does my smiley have evil eyes?

Edit Edit: If you have multiple consoles you get multiple $5.
