Pony Up for Ponies - Achieved!

Do we set up a google doc, with our GWJ forum name, and the amount we wish to donate.

If the amount pledged is over $500 and the Kickstartter hasn't rolled in, we could then look at PayPal and PM as the alternative?

If it never gets close, then no harm, no foul.

That sounds great. I'll take care of that tomorrow.

I love your mom more than I love you - at least more frequently. Where does that put us on the trust scale?

She disagrees.

It didn't go in. Just impacted on the surface.

Loosen up!

I used to pay Rabbit to write articles about sparkle womp rats on his TRS-80 back home, they're weren't much more than twenty dollars.

(I.e., I'm in for $20.) (Edit: I mean $25. Already forgot how this works, and I want that sweet bombsfall art.)

The bombsfall art is AMAZEBALLS. Literally.

Google Doc is live! Visit and let's tally what donations we have while waiting for Grump to get Kickstarter going. In the event that Kickstarter falls through, I'll use this to reconcile paypal donations and ensure everyone gets credit.

It came from behind...

In for $50, because Rabbit will get what he deserves.

Amazon Payments account verification complete. Now it's on to the Kickstarter PTPB.

This could only be more awesome if the sparkle pony review actually raised more money than the primary donation drive.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure if the Kickstarter boots up it's breaking past 100% real quick.

Keep in mind that if it goes to Kickstarter then it suddenly has a much larger audience than it does here...

Yes, once we mobilize the social media leveraging of sparkle ponies, we will be kick started into the interwebz.

I would like to share with the group what Rabbit decided to donate to this wonderful endeavor. I think it's really touching and heartwarming.

Brings a tear to my eye. And here I thought Rabbit didn't want to write this article.

I would also like to note that, Rabbit's generous donation notwithstanding, we are at $625 promised. That's amazing, folks. We just need to finalize the way that people actually send money and Rabbit's fate is sealed. >:-)

Add this to the current drive total of $14,102 and we've reached the first stretch goal! Hooray!

Goodjers rock!

if for some reason you need more than I would be more than happy to put in for this as well since I haven't donated yet but plan to asap. I am very happy that all the goodjers that put in to this got this already

Do we have an ETA on the Kickstarter, and/or a process for moving from pledge to payment?

With this much interest, you should raise $1000 and grab both of the Rabbit-authored donation slots and force him to write about another equally sh*tty game.

Honestly, if we were to raise another $500 (which is extremely possible! We're at $650 pledged!) I think I'd want him to write that Bioshock article he mentioned on the podcast last week.
I mean, cruel and unusual torture is outlawed by the Geneva Convention, I believe.

I'm guessing the Kickstarter powers that be don't work weekends but I expect we'll have an answer one way or the other this coming week.
