Pony Up for Ponies - Achieved!

On a more serious note, should probably drop the bit about a Paypal link from the preview copy on the KS project.

Are you certain? a little Friendship Is Magic Ale might be nice.

A shame Twilight Spark Ale wouldn't make a lot of sense.

Yeah, mudbunny mentioned it as well; I just hadn't gotten around to it but now it's done. Thanks.

Stretch goals:
A) He has to get one level 5 ponycorn.
B) He has to get two level 5 ponycorns.
C) He has to get three level 5 ponycorns.
D) He has to get four level 5 ponycorns.
E) He has to get all five level 5 ponycorn and discover the TRUE SECRET OF THE MAGIC CRYSTALS!

I've only managed 3.

Still waiting...

I was going to buy XCOM for X360, but then pile guilt kicked in. I don't need any new games (sorry Tkyl) and will put that money towards this little gem of a project (sorry Rabbit).

Count me in for 60USD!

Rabbit - if this drive actually succeeds you should set up a PO Box for yourself. For each forum member that's excited to see you spend 15 hours with sparkleponies, there is probably a sympathetic member willing to send you booze to get you through it.

There might be drugs more... compatible with sparkly ponies than alcohol.

edit - just listened to the podcast. I guess cookies might work as a substitute.

With any luck, MA legalizes medical marijuana in November, and I'll be good to go.

"Doc... I've got Sparkleponies."
"Say no more. Write your own." *hands over the prescription pad*

Could we add Elysia to this project for a $30-50 tier

Elysium might frown on that. We can add my kids though.

I really ought to know better than to try and write out a serious suggestion before I'm properly caffinated >_<

Could we add Elysia to this project for a $30-50 tier that gets you a PDF version of the article similar to the $25k stretch goal for the overarching funding drive?

EDIT: Could we get Elysia to make a professionally formatted PDF of the article as a $30-50 reward tier (similar to the $25k donation drive stretch goal)?

OMG, even WE weren't that bad.

I love the sorry b*stard that is trying to sing into an empty mike stand...

*sigh* This Kickstarter process is dragging... sorry.

It would be so much easier if we could just tag our Paypal donation (@Certis: hint, hint).

In for $10. Dance, Rabbit!

I'll put my $25 donation behind this.

Dude, you started it. The send money to PayPal and then send one lump sum seemed like a fine plan to me.

I'm in for 25$

If this works, I'll be happier than Legion watching Project Runway: Teenage Edition.

I trust you Grump, but I don't get paid until Friday. I don't know how much I can promise by then yet, so that's why I hadn't spoken up.

To be fair, I didn't start it... but I asked Taharka if he was getting any traction and he wasn't, so I offered my assistance.

If this Kickstarter thing doesn't happen (e.g. TPTB reject the project), I'm willing to lend my reputation and Paypal account to the cause, assuming the concern of the community was sending money to a mere "Intern." Of course, that doesn't have the transparency of a Kickstarter so I wouldn't blame people for not sending money to me, either.

Just tell me where to send the money and it's there

I wonder with the extra time if Julian is seeking other folks to buy up the 2 slots before this money gets there...

Lol. I promise that, though I am merely an intern, it's more because I prefer to read than write. I've been with the community for around 4 years and am no more likely to steal from this wonderful group of people than I am from my own mother. *

Since Grump has put so much time, effort, and money into the kickstarter, I'm happy to wait a while longer. If that fails, or if people do not want to wait, I'm also happy to go back to PayPal + private message.

*to be clear, I love my mother and would never steal from her. I don't love this community quite as much as the woman who gave birth to me and raised me and sacrificed so much for me, but I still would never steal from any of you.

I don't trust anyone who doesn't love me more than his own mother.

To be fair, in your case that's a pretty low bar.

Do we set up a google doc, with our GWJ forum name, and the amount we wish to donate.

If the amount pledged is over $500 and the Kickstartter hasn't rolled in, we could then look at PayPal and PM as the alternative?

If it never gets close, then no harm, no foul.
