Awesome!

I would love to meet some DC based GWJ folks, but it looks like I will be in Baltimore for a wedding. Maybe next time. Have a good one!

I will be there! Mrs. O'lyde will probably not.

Not going to make it. Enjoy, everyone.

Sorry I haven't posted (got your PM, TigerBill), but I've been in wait and see mode. I'm currently doing my damnedest to try and fight off a sinus infection. I can't tell if I've avoided it or if it's about to hit me harder.

Take that as a maybe, but perhaps not ... ?

I tried that but it made me feel worse ... the next day.

Oh hell yes, I'm so there. If for no other reason than I would enjoy the irony of finally meeting Garion (who lived an hour away from me in Colorado) who now evidently lives an hour away from me in Annapolis. I live in Bethesda, so Silver Spring is just down the road.

I'll be there in my Telltale Adventure! shirt.

I ... followed you. You weren't supposed to realize this.

And now you're stuck in this humid hell with me. I hope you learnt your lesson.

Spoiler:

Actually, it's really turning pleasantly cool, and I'm very much looking forward to Autumn in Maryland!

Just a friendly reminder; the first couple rounds are on me.

Excellent. I hear they have a scotch there that's over 100 years old, and costs $250 an ounce. Couple rounds of that should set us up nicely.

I am almost, but not quite, man enough to try that.

Yeah, I hate summers here. I grew up here, so....

Fall is the best time of year. You're gonna love the colors.

I'm actually really familiar with Maryland. When I came to the USA, this is where I lived before I joined the service. Was here from 1991 to 1997. Still have family on the Eastern Shore, so it's nice to be here briefly as it lets me see them regularly. And yes, Autumn here is one of the (few) things I missed when living out in Colorado.

I'm in! How will we recognize each other?

When it rains it pours, today my company had a big event at a bar where we all got off work early and had free food, drinks and shot pool.
I'm not sure I can handle so much of this "being around other people" stuff.

By all the hot chicks gathered together, naturally.

I shall be wearing a red t-shirt with big white GWJ lettering on it.

I'll be wearing a green baseball cap from Sloppy Joe's.

So, Kiri posted on Dr. Incurable's account before talking to us. We're committed to a gaming day event and may not make it to QH. (Do they allow 18 year olds in there? Hmmm. Think so, but...) But we'll at least try.

Correction/Update:
I'm out.

I'm still in. Still 5pm at the Quarry House?

Noone minds if I keep playing FTL on my laptop while we eat, right?

Yep, 5 Quarry House.

Enjoy my GWJ friends! I will have to pass pretty sick Made it thru my class and haven't the energy to venture out again once I got home. I am also missing my 30th High School Reunion. I'll raise a nice hot cuppa tea to y'all

Had a blast throwing back some brews with Paleocon, Coldstream and, Mixolyde. For all those thay weren't able to make it, I'm honestly sad to have missed meeting you (next time though).

My buddy Kalsnake really had fun meeeting the local Goodjers too. He is excited to finally know some people in the area.

I really need to move out here soon. Anyone hiring a CAD Designer?

A great time, indeed! I hope your other gaming went well, too.

Sad I missed it, but then I wouldn't have been much fun to be around. I could've left you with a parting gift, however, which is what people always want, right? That's what my gf told me about herpes at least ...

Yeah, was fun to hang out for sure. Paleo and I were the last to leave, and I'm pretty sure that he went back inside to "have a word" with the guy who was ostensibly our server. I'll be watching the obituary page to see what happened to that kid.
