Guild Wars 2 Guild organization thread.

Ok, got my character over to Northern Shiverpeak and did the GDoc form. It's been a lonely 9 levels, looking forward to grouping up.

All caught up on invites from the spreadsheet.

I'm a casual player so far, but I'm at level 5 Guardian.

If you guys wanna party up, tell me. I'll try to be on vent for that. I am having trouble reading the in-game chat.

EDIT : Oh, and I'm in the guild as well already.

OK, another round of invites have gone out. That puts us at 192 members and 6 invites pending.

198!

That's nuts.

For those of you still trying to get the Northern Shiverpeaks, I just looked and our server is now at Medium so you should be able to move in no problem (at least for a little while).

On that note: If you do manage to transfer to Northern Shiverpeaks, PLEASE post here to let us know so we can adjust your guild rank accordingly.

I'm on the server now as well.

Very Cool. Just made the transfer. Looking forward to the invite!

Invites out to those on the spreadsheet as of now.

I switched to the NS server earlier this weekend.

Just so you guys know, I am in the guild under the name, PixelSynth, not whispa.

Just was able to transfer. N. Shiverpeaks is a "medium" level right now, so a good time to give it a try, y'all.

It's something we officers can keep an eye on as well. When looking over the roster, people on different servers should have their location in orange, so if we see any Lost Souls with a white location, we can shoot them a tell to make sure they're on NS, then set them as a regular member.

I know, Stengah. I've been doing that periodically, too.

Me too, though lately every time i check we are all caught up

Invites out to those on the spreadsheet as of now.

(And PMs out to those that gave incomplete info.)

Sorry for not applying to join sooner. I actually got onto NSP the day the game launched, but never got around to filling out the form

I also have a small guild of my own on NSP with some coworkers (How To Train Your Elder Dragon), so I'll probably bounce back and forth in terms of representation (I really wish the game provided a way to at least be in guild chat with all your guilds).

Also, not sure if you guys heard this, but rumor is that Team Legacy is leaving NSP, although their official word at the moment is that they haven't...yet. Sounds like they are, though.

keep in mind he loves to troll...

I wouldn't quite go to the lengths of of saying he is trolling. But he does bring some baggage...

I heard some rumors to this effect when I was on WvW last night (for about fifteen minutes, until I ran out of time to play ). There were definitely complainers saying "The WvW guilds have left the server" and suggestions to check the Northern Shiverpeaks forums.

Of course I check now and the official GW2 forums are still out.. I checked here http://www.northernshiverpeaks.com/i... but didn't want to register so I didn't get the full story, but I'm not seeing anything there about guilds leaving... ?

I'm on the NS forums and while I haven't seen anything specific about TL leaving, there are a few guilds that appear to have dropped out of the ascension alliance and migrated to other servers.

True, I have been known to be overly pessimistic to the point that can't be sold as advocatus diaboli anymore.

LFG Been excited for GW2 for years!

The queue times would be enough to drive any heavy wvwvw guild to a different server.

I have made the transfer to Northern Shiverspeaks. Please adjust as necessary.

Thanks

Roger that. Pants are now on. Thanks for the heads up.

It's now confirmed, Team Legacy and some of the other big guilds in that alliance have all jumped ship and transferred to other servers(Eredon Terrace in TL's case).

So.. that partly explains ppl having better luck transferring in, and now the WvW queues should be shorter.

Presumably they did so to avoid WvW queues, but being as they are tied to the game's most popular podcast, I am guessing the queues will just follow them.

I wonder what this will mean for WvW on NS.

.should be easier to get in but even harder to find organized play. The remaining guilds are working together to form up some kind of leadership but it's not clear what will emerge.

Ironically, I decided to try out WvW last night.

It was a disorganized mess on our borderlands zone. There were some people trying to organize a defense of a supply point but it wasn't getting traction.

It didn't help my experience that I arrived and didn't have any good idea of what I should do.

Died a fair amount. The zone design is pretty cool, though. I'm willing to try some more and get through the bit of a learning curve.
