Congrats!

Thank you.

Awesome!

My three year old son just brought me a cold beer... ...to the bathroom, which was in use... ...on Sunday "morning".

So, I'm all kinds of proud, confused, and grateful, and ashamed at the same time.

Yeah. That's a real dilemma. Just think of it as an opportunity to instill the core value of beer after 5.

That and any food or drink furhter than the door threshold of a bathroom creeps me out.

The big question is, did you drink it?

First day of dance class. Someone's excited…

Dude, that's pure good. Aside from your obvious alcoholism, he's self-training!

Can we just go on, how it can be cute for a child to misunderstand what might be appropriate time to consume beer? Though I suppose I'm not making a strong case for myself in other threads here.

My sister is 8 years younger than I am and I remember how excited she was. How was her first day of classes?

My daughter is growing up so fast. She already outgrown the mustache and is now into beards!

It's Father's Day in Australia,

This is what I got for my first Father's Day.

Oh, she loves it. She had already done a week-long dance camp at the same place this summer as a test-run to see if she'd really enjoy it or not. She asks every day if it's time to go to dance class or not.

Prozac, I was just coming in here to wish you a happy Father's Day. Congrats to you and yours on the first of many.

Equally crafty offerings at our place.

Mug from Lilly, my four year old. Made in Pre-Kindy along with the coconut munchy things in the cellophane.

Two ceramic tiles, both Lilly and Alexandra made at Daycare. Not sure about the thinking behind that. Lilly tells me it is for putting the mug on. I'm thinking we do it each year, then I get them framed and mounted every 5-10 years in some kind of mosaic. One of those things that, no matter where they are in the world, they can scribble something on an 10cm x 10cm 'something' and send it to me.

I am so glad to see little Prozac doing well and being so creative.

He's teething at the moment, we have first tooth confirmed!

Happy Fathers' day Antipodean dads, and thanks for reminding me to call mine =)

Stellan found the booze.

He looks remarkably happy!

Some might even say 'merry'.

My little girl Hope finished nursery today. She starts school on Wednesday. The staff at the nursery took this.

So nice to have friends with really good cameras at your BBQ. Here's a pic of Aaron from this past Sunday taken by such a friend.

I'm happy for you and her ...but I'm sad for society. But I'm reminded of The Incredibles, so I guess on the whole I'm happy again.
