NCAA 13 XBOX 2 Star Season 1 Week 9

On a side note, I had at least 8 holding calls in my game. That seems a little excessive doesn't it? Plus I had 5 Ints...I dont know if it was just their secondary or what...but at least three of them the WR was open by a step or two but when the ball left the QBs hand, they turned on the jets and were there in a second.

Indiana beat Northwestern 38-28, but it was closer than that. NU scored on both an INT and fumble recovery for TDs. However, IU got some well timed turnovers in the second half and put the game away in the 4th quarter.

Leroy,
I am gone for two weeks back for one then gone for two again. Do you want me to drop and see if Jayhawker will return?

Nah, you can stay in. will you be able to recruit from the web?

Kush,

If I get permission from my daughter, I can play tonight. It is her birthday and if she doesn't want me to play, then I will not play.

I'll be lucky if I get home by 8pm tonight. If I do, it's on like Donkey Kong.

I've seen a lot of holding as well. Especially on knockoffs.

Well it has taken me some time to come to grips with it, but Temple beats Fresno State 33-30 in Double OT. The Temple run game was exceptional at the onset as Fresno was gambling trying to guess which side the Owls were running to. Later in the game after finally stopping the run. The short passing game kicked into gear for Temple. With about a minute to go Fresno was down 20-17 with a long field to go. After a good chunk of the yardage was gained, Fresno had a 1 and Goal at the 3. I tried to punch it in and was no good. I used my last time out. I ran a waggle and the tight end was open in the end zone. I throw it to him. DROPPED. The game winner dropped in the end zone with 5 seconds left. Fresno goes and kicks the field goal to tie it up. After trading touchdowns in the first OT. Temple stops Fresno from getting into the end zone and settles for a field goal. Temple gets the ball and hits the tight end going across slips by my safety and scores the game winner.

I would like to say that I think there was only 2 holding penalties all game. There was one fumble but was recovered by the offense. BUT this is also coming from memory. I am sure there was 10 holding penalties and 4 INTs.

Kush has recruiting and then I will roll.

KUUUUSHHH!!!!

Kush has been very busy with a HUGE system upgrade at our work. He said he would get to it today at some point.

Side note. Since SpyNavy is away, I can just play my game next week?

I'm with Shag in trying to figure the SpyNavy situation. As my game in the BCS league is against him this week.

Oh, no worries. It's not like I have had time to play the last several days.

I just don't like seeing this thread sink too far down the list. Inactive leagues tend to go away. I suppose I should have disparaged his mother or something by way of starting more of a conversation.

Sorry guys, like Shag has said, I've been very busy at work. I didn't get to it last night, but I promise I will recruit when I get to work today!

Sorry for the holdup, recruiting now. Apparently, I am holding up the Gold Fantasy Football League too

Whoops!

Bull chit

Holy chit
Chitty chit

Is that straight enough?

*EDIT*
My wife is talking to her friend about her wedding, which reminded me, I forgot Chit-Faced

Still shows you as not ready.Did you finish?

Still going. Doing this online instead of the XBox. Big mistake. Almost done.

*EDIT*
DONE! Roll it!

After looking at some stats, I adjusted some sliders. Nothing drastic, just some minor tweaks to QB accuracy, WR catching, and rush defense.

Are you dropping QB Accuracy and WR Catching? If so, I think this is a good move.

i did.

I might need to drop it more or something. I am crushing Iowa, in Iowa.

Hmmm...would you have predicted Duke would be higher rated in this league than Cincinnati in the other?

Lol. No. apparently I'm not up on duke or cincinnati football

Also wanted to ask you guys... If you need to restart your game, please explain why. I'm seeing a lot of restarts

Among my top 3 recruits are a punter and a kicker. Crazy. But, they're both 77 or 78 overall! I did get an instant commit from a respectable strong safety this week, bringing my recruit count up to 5 overall. Those are all decent, but after my remaining top 3 (G, P, K), it goes downhill.

I'm spending a lot of time recruiting OL, DTs, and LBs this time around. I don't have a lot of specific needs (filled my FB need), but I could use help stopping the run.

Fresno needs a lot of people. 2 SS, 1 OLB, 1 DT, C, G, and a punter. So I have been working mainly with trying to fill my needs first then I plan on going after so big recruits.

Thanks for the heads up, because I will be checking this in the BCS league too.
