I laughed..out loud...in public. It got awkward.

This really isn't the thread for donkey punching

Yeah, save that for Jeopardy (for $800)

Betsy's wry grin at Mike's answer is almost as priceless as the deadpan 'no' from Alex Trebek.

I was trying to get my damn phone to take a picture using voice commands. It was pissing me off.
I was really having fun.

Our little guy has just mastered over the last couple days going down a couple stairs in our suite.

I cannot get over how quickly my daughter Teagan is growing: mentally and physically. She loves being outside and is contantly wanting to look at all the new objects around her. Yesterday I entertained her for 30 minutes by showing her rocks and then droping them in the water with her then getting excited and trying to grab them back out of the water.

Bonnonon, that flower in her hair is adorable.

After seeing the new Lego sets, my son asked me if I would read him The Lord of the Rings.

This whole sentence is a winning combination of words and awesomeness. Lego, Son and he asks about Lord of the Rings! Congrats.

P.S Grenn - The flower was my wife's idea.

Ditto! My son has seen the movies a few times so we are reading him The Hobbit before the movie comes out.
My son already has 3 or 4 of the LOTR Lego sets.

Yes, I totally geeked out writing that sentence. He's been poring over the Lego site watching the designer videos. He's got the Shelob set, and I think there are a lot more LOTR sets in his (my) future.

Last night we got to the part in chapter one where Gandalf is trying to convince Bilbo to give up the ring. When Gandalf says, "Then you will see Gandalf the Grey uncloaked", he giggled. When I asked him why he was giggling, he said, "Then he would be NAKED!"

I assumed Gandalf always had clothes on under his cloak. I guess I was wrong.

Wow, all he needs is the extra facial hair, and he is the spitting image of you!

Reminds me of something that a friend said when they saw my daughter for the first time: "She's got your furrowed brow!"

They tend to ask me what pub I work at.

Not pictured: steelcapped Redback work boots

Noice.

Plus +1 from the home team.

Looks pretty normal to me. I thought it was sort of a nice shirt.

It's actually from Toronto.

Just saw my daughter posted this on Facebook. She's too shy to sing at home. but apprently the internet is cool.

And apparently this, too.

Tell her to quit her day job.

Since her day job is Sophomore in high school, I don't think I will be encouraging that.

Oh. Well, then tell her to take up part-time work in addition. But don't let that talent wither on the vine! Tell her the internet says so. She seems to be OK with our opinion.

Oh, hi!

Why yes, it is tasty!

At my daughter's daycare, their module for the past while has been art. In a fit of genius/inspiration/madness, the daycare lady grabbed 5 artists and had the kids (6 of them between 3 and 6) do something in the style of the artist.

THe paintings my daughter did are below, but you can see the paintings of each of the artists from which the kids got inspiration can be seen in my G+ post.
