Well im sure pneuman, AP_Erebus and I shall hang out here in MEL, but that is all too common these days now anyway!

I might be able to make it to an eastern state for something, but it'd be supremely tenuous at this stage.

Well AP_Erebus, pneuman and I hang out quite regularly so next time you're in our hood let us know and we'll meet up anyway

Keep me informed of the date - I've always wanted to know whether Maq really is a small green dinosaur with an acid casualty expression

I'll probably still be in London on that date but, as with last year, that's the weekend of my son's birthday so it could be tricky regardless.

I'd like to tentatively moot a day of boardgames at my local pub for that date, though, as that's something I can certainly make. That is if HaakCon's date is amenable to shiftage.

edit: Actually this would make as good a gamer-friends leaving do as any - which means it comes mostly pre-approved with the missus. Plus it's in the Olympic Borough of Hackney so we could possibly cobble together some form of rudimentary Olympic format for yucks.

I'd love to set something up in the Nashville area. Any takers?

I've got no problem with us having MaqCon this year, if everyone else amenable?
London might be more convenient for everybody (except Dudley and I) but either way, I can work around your plans, Maq. Its not as though we've had huge turnouts over the last few years!

I'd be down for something in the area.

Alas, I can not toodle to PenCon this year. If someone else doesn't get something going in NY/NJ — we'll see what the wife says about opening the house, or just meet somewhere for drinkingness.

I also am not going to Ohio, so, as Anthony Carmine would say:

Maybe a pre-halloween costume party? I got a bunch of non-goodjer gamer friends that would be good fodder to bring into the fold.

I might be traveling for work, if not, I'll be down.

OK, in that case I'll nominate 12am-11pm at the Pembury Tavern, which is a large gamer-friendly pub with good food and beer. I can put 2 people up on the sofa/floor if they want to stay late and get a train in the morning, with the understanding that there'll be a 12mo baby in the house so it'd be for crashing, not for continuing the party. Failing that, single rooms in Hackney go for around £30 on AirBnB. Other than that the transport links are pretty good.

Also I promise to properly internalize the rules to Junta beforehand so Dudley and I can finally play.

If anyone wants to second that and if there are no objections I'll raise a thread for it.

Sounds good to me, as this is happening in London I can bring some non-GWJ but game-happy friends to the pub.

Thirded, I actually don't already have plans for that date this year for once, so count me in!

London meetup thread here

If there are any events in CT I would probably be able to attend. Hosting is a definite no-no, my wife would have a fit. It's a shame, we have quite a decent-sized house which would be perfect for this kind of thing.

I would be down for for something in NY or one of the surrounding states. If nothing is going on, I may get a last minute ticket to PenCon.

Do that. Go ahead. I'm waiting.

Thirded. Or fourthed, whatever. We have a much-neglected thread here already.

so.... What about SE Asia generally and Vientiane, Laos in particular?

Anyone in striking distance?

Shall we fire up a G+ hangout for the day?

Why not? (As in, sure! :))

I'd love to take a trip up 65 to hang out if you do.

Oh look, a thread I didn't notice.

I'm in Souf Jersey, but know there are folks around Delaware, Philly and Pittsburgh (though that one is four hours away). I'm honestly up for NJ, Philly, Delaware or Pittsburgh before I'm up for NYC, but I can arrange a day trip to NYC if need be.

I'll be sitting and seeing what people from what areas are available for what things, and can probably bring friends along to any of the above locations.

I threw up a thread for a NorCal/Bay Area event.

However, as mentioned there, my bandwidth has been capped by my service provider (read: I'm really f*cking busy lately, and that isn't going to change anytime soon). I am happy to host at my place, but coordination and planning will have to fall to someone else.

To my Seattle area folks! I'd like to mention that I will be happy to assist in any current plans for IGWJ day. Also, my place is available, if nothing else is planned.

I haven't had a chance to plan anything, and your house is awesome. We'll even bring our own Clamato-stuff.

What sayeth the rest of the gang?

This gang member says "works for me". I'm not going to be able to offer my place that day - I'm not even sure if I'm going to be in-town that weekend yet.

The Pacific Northwest listing is a thing now: http://www.gamerswithjobs.com/node/113452

I've not tried getting hangouts working before but the thought occurred it'd be a fun idea. Although there's a good chance the London S&T will be well and truly quackhandled by the time anyone else gets online and people further to the east may have already turned in.

I should be able to make it to the King's Head as well

ZellbrigeN and I are roommates, so we'll hoist a Guinness in the apartment in honor of IGWJD... Unless there's something else happening in the Denver area.
