Hero Academy Catch-All

I wonder if they'll have a way to just hook your Steam account to your Hero Academy account. That would seem to make the most sense.

I think there's an achievement in OMD for that. Well your Robot Entertainment account which I think is also the HA account.

Hmmm....I think I need to do that. Edit: Is that in OMD2?

Nope, just OMD1. It's called "Series of Tubes".

ANNNNNNNDDDD IT'S LIVE! $4.99, Steam, go!

I ONLY see a two pack for $7.99. I'm down for a copy if someone wants to halfsies.

PM your Paypal address.

So, I'm playing a game with LiquidMantis using the TF2 team. The Spy is pretty damn cool. It one hit kill from behind.

Watch out!

Wow, this TF2 team is definitely going to take some getting used to.

It seems like a very different playstyle from the other teams. Reading through all the abilities, they seemed really powerful but without taking advantage of them, the individual TF2 guys seem pretty weak (maybe excluding the soldier). I guess you've really got to take advantage of each one's unique mechanic and lay on the upgrades.

Definitely going to pick up the steam version when I get home, though I may never play it on PC.

I bought this today as well. I've never played this game before so I'd rather not play with random people...

Feel free to add me if you want a noob to beat on!

Well that was odd. I bought the 2-pack bundle, then Steam presented me with this:

Seems that the image was a liar, though.

Edit: Also, friend me up if you want someone easy to demolish. I've never played, even on iOS.

Same thing here.

I've got it, too. Feel free to steam me up.

OK, you magnificent bastards. I just logged in, and found not one, BUT THREE copies of this game gifted to me.

The Counselor, Merphle and Elcyion, I love you all.

Would you like me to pick one, and return two others, or would you like me to accept all three, and gift forward (it's so hard to choose between the ones you love).

I am going to set up the dual boot tonight, after getting a Carbon Copy Clone of my HD done, just incase it all goes balls up, then it's on, like Hero Academy!

Think I'll be picking up the Steam version. Played a little on the fiance's iPad and it looks like a cool game.

*edit*

Individual DLC strikes me as pretty expensive, should I just grab everything at once.

Spoiler:

Probably yes.

Feel free to pay mine forward.

Actually, you were the first one in

Cross posting this from the Questions you answered thread, incase they get too lost in soda/pop duiscussions (plus, we all know why I'm asking).

Installing Windows 7 Professional on a Mac as a boot camp install.

32 or 64 bit?

The machine in question is:
Apple iMac 3.06 intel Core 2 Duo
RAM 4GB 1067 Mhz DDR3
Bus Speed 1.07GHz
ATI Radeon HD 4670

Looking to run Steam, and the PC games i have for that (mainly retro, and Hero Academy) and any other little annoying Apps the Mac doesn't have (ie the Adobes etc will all run on the Mac still.)

I've got a recent time machine that's run, and doing a bootable Carbon Copy Cloner before the install too, just to be safe.

Any other suggestions welcome.

I can't think of any reason to go 32. Every PC I load anymore is x64 as long as the processor can handle it.

Can the PC version play against the iOS version? Mrs. Codger is sporting an iPhone, but I'm an Android heretic.

I believe so... There's only one way to find out though.

Passing on the GWJ love, as it passes through me, so too does it pass onto you.

Wait -- what just happened?

Oh! Thanks monkey -- and Counselor? I'll try it out today.

Looks like they bundled the factions and their icon sets. Those were separate on iOS but I think $5 is a better rate than buying them piecemeal as IAPs. Probably going to just grab the Gold pack since I only bought dwarves previously.

Edit: just checked and it is cheaper to buy the full set on Steam than iOS. Not sure if the elite avatars are in the Steam versions though.

Started games of this with pyroman and gdawg plus two random people. Pretty sure I'm well on my way to losing at least three of them rather spectacularly, but it seems pretty cool anyway

So, I'm in Toronto, at the Yankees-Jays game. And I can't get the free wireless here to let me take my HA turns!

I think I have a problem...

I'm finishing up my games with Dyni and n3crotyi and I'm pret much done with Hero Academy. Summoner Wars has basically taken over.

Thank you everyone for the great games!
