I said kittens die, I didn't say I would kill them! I'm not sure how they die but I'm sure it can't be good.

Basically - let's keep this thread going!

Ah -- I may have been using a less-familiar FARKism.

I'll just leave this here... (NSFW-ish)

And the spirit of giving continues. Thanks to Maverick for some sweet Warlock DLC!

No problem, but that thanks goes to Duffman too. He's the one that gave it to me.

"I'm a doctor, not a game retailer?"

But I love this thread... It can't die.

If we remember it, it isn't really dead.

It must die, so another can take it's place.

Guys, we do this twice a year.

That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die.

The Valve of Time turns, and ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legends fade to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Summer by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a thread ended in the games forum. The thread was not the end. There are neither beginnings or endings to the turning of the Valve of Time. But it was an end.

Steam Sale threads are like cicadas,

It is time to serenade this thread to a close.

Play the thread off, Keyboard Cat.

I always hate the last hours of a convention. Whether it's the local hobby shops setting up a weekend convention at a community center or a big event spanning two giant hotels, the convention always makes me feel like I am in The Right Place. I am with The Right People, learning and playing in such a way that it's hard to tell one from the other. Traveling home is almost always somber. I spend the next ten days readjusting to the ugly parts of day-to-day life. Those worries were forbidden at the convention. They were too far away to care about anyway.

I leave remembering the wonderful people that will be taken back to their own lives for another year. We'll always be BFFs on Livejournal or MySpace or Facebook, right? I can't wait to email the hosts with a profound thank you for their hard work and excellent event. My wallet is empty and bags are full thanks to that blissfully unholy dealer's room. They took every cent not appropriated for flimsy four-dollar hamburgers.

Every cent. And them some.

Thank you, everyone in this thread, for putting a whole lot of those same great feelings into this summer sale.

Guys, if you really want to, I could start thrashing and trolling so hard to the point of Certis coming down and locking this forever.

Got a couple of goatses up my sleeve.

Those are some scary sleeves...

I think of nothing better to say to someone as they find me in the bottom of a deep, dark alley.

A nice way of putting this thread. Thinking back it definitely reminds me of my first convention experience this year. Tons of new face, played a lot of fun games, bought a few art pieces, but when it is all over and done you just don't want to let go... Till you are forced to because the security guard is kicking you out of the lobby.

The security guard in this case is most likely Certis.

Just checked, last year the Summer Sale thread limped along til September 25th. So, two more months of this haha!

And on the last day of July in the year two-thousand twelve Gabe said rise up...

So the indie bundles are back on sale. That's something, right?

Eek. Hide your wallets!

Oh nooooooo!
