Borderlands 2 Catch-All

Remember that eulogy they did for the fellow who tragically died of cancer at 22? Remember that Mamaril is going to be an NPC in Borderlands 2? That's just really cool of them to do. I can't wait to see what they did.

I almost forgot about it.

I got all teared up when I heard it.

There is an interview with the lead AI programmer on Joystiq. I like what I'm seeing:

There are 15-20 separate enemies in Borderlands 2, but each type has numerous variants, bringing the total number of foes somewhere between 200-300. Foreman once tried to count them all by running a script, but with the complex descriptors composing each enemy, it was impossible to locate every one. Suffice it to say, there are a lot.

I'll also head up a 4 Pack for anyone (non-coffee grinder) who's interested.

$40 to get a slot. PM me for PayPal information.

EDIT: All done!

Redwing, did you get in with Shoptroll's 4-pack?

I haven't received a PM from him.

1 slot left for anyone interested. PM me for details.

EDIT: And we're done here.

Wow really guys? Is there not a better way to do all this 4 pack stuff? Maybe create a non-game specific thread specifically for that or Google doc or something.

I've pre-ordered 360 version but I will be double dipping for sure. So anyone that wants me on their 4 person roster, PM me.

FSeven, I sent you an invite to the GWJ Borderlanders group. It's awesome that the group will be more useful now since the second game uses Steamworks!

If anyone else needs an invite, chime in.

Sure, send one my way.

Yeah, might as well send one my way as well--I'll be getting in on the BL2 goodies

Can I get an invite to the gwjborderlanderss group too?

steam name djolar

woop woop! Thank you sir

Someone start a new 4 pack, dammit! I know not the mysterious workings of paypal, and cannot initiate one.

I'd like an invite to the Borderlands Steam group, too, please!

I'm having trouble finding you through search, and your link, http://steamcommunity.com/id/djolar, isn't working for me either.

Yeah I was having trouble earlier too.

Try this? http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7...

I could use an invite to the Steam group.

Also, I'd be in for a 4-pack if another one gets going.

Invites sent! I'm actually adding people as friends too because I assume I will be playing with all of you eventually.

If I'm not there, I will take an invite as well.

I demand that Tuffalo posts crazy 6030X1080 screenshots with max everything when Borderlands 2 comes out.

Invite sent.

That's my plan. Muahaha... Borderlands 1 didn't work really, but I'm hoping it'll work well with 2. Since they were using Borderlands to promote the new Nvidia cards, I'm pretty confident my setup will work well.

Wonder how much my laptop will whine if I try to run it on 3D @ 120hz

I can't do 3D since I have 60 HZ monitors, but I was wondering if it might be really cool with Borderlands since it's Cel Shaded. I've always wanted to try. Have you tried Borderlands 1 doing that?

I'll grab one of those invites to that there group.

I think I will try that. It sounds pretty cool.

Need a group invite and a spot in a 4-pack por favor.

I tried it just now, it's not bad. There's some nice bits flying in your face when you run things down. I don't think this game is worth the slight flicker 3d does.
