NCAA13 BCS (XBox 360) League Discussion (1 Spot Open)

So since the rosters are out and seem to be pretty good. Any chance we start this thing this week? Also what's going on with the 2* league.

I have downloaded and now uploaded the most recent OS files. Mostly I was excited to see Schyler Miles added to the Kansas roster. I'm seriously considering switching back to KU.

But feel free to download from my gamertag. I've made zero changes.

Thanks Jayhawker, I'll snag those when I jump on next.

I downloaded the rosters from CK11 on Thursday night, and I'm just trying to figure out now how to procure the school rivals. I have the list from NCAA12, so as long as nothing changed from last year, I can create the league.

I also need to try to figure out the landscape, but that won't be too hard. I'm looking to create the league either tonight or tomorrow.

I will be on vacation from July 27th until August 3rd. I probably won't have my XBox with me. Who would like to take over during my absense. Once the league is rolled during the week, you can transfer back to me, since the league won't roll after that until I get back.

*EDIT*
Maybe I will try to schedule a Week 2 bye for Rutgers, so we can try to keep moving forward during my vacation

Jayhawker, can you send me your current sliders list, and we will start with that for Season I. I am going to try not to make any changes during the season, but that doesn't mean I won't

I am gone Aug. 4 - 11, as well.

Will do, thanks for posting the sliders!

Holy crap, 8 minute quarters. The average online game takes 30-45 minutes for a 5 minute quarter. our games are going to be marathons.

On a side note did Kush setup the league online yet. I have lost track.

I think we should leave ice the kicker on. Came in handy against Zell last year

Heisman, very slow, threshold at 90, 10 min Quarters play very sim like in my offline dynasty.

Can I get a tv timeout for a pee break with 10 minute quarters?

How do you get these rosters onto a 360?

Go to Team Management. At the end of the row is Roster Share. You can either click on Download Roster, where you can enter a gamertag, or you can scroll your friends list and use mine. It will ask you to save them.

Fair warning, the game seems to be finicky about reverting to default rosters. If they do, simply go to Settings, and at the end of the row will be File Management. From there you can choose to load a file using the Load/Delete option. Use the LT to choose Rosters, and load the file with the name you saved it as.

I usually look at Depth Chart or Edit Rosters under Team Management to verify that the roster I want are loaded. At this point, when you start a dynasty, it will use the rosters you have loaded. It will also use those rosters when you do a Play Now game.

I'd like to consider increasing Pass Coverage to 90 or 95, which would probably require dropping INTs a notch. I think the passing game, while improved substantially this year, might be a bit too easy, and DBs went from psychic to clueless. The main issue I see that DBs let guys get deep too often.

Otherwise, I'm having some great fun with these sliders. Since I dropped Roughing the Passer to 53, and then 54, I have not had a single Roughing call. I really think 55 is a better level.

Also, I'd recommend grabbing the rosters from me or CK11 again, as the latest update is so much better (read: third string MLB Schyler Miles was added to Kansas). I think it might be a little more accurate, as they have been cleaning up errors and adding freshmen.

I just played a couple of games with Pass Coverage set to 90 for both teams and INTs dropped to 40. The DBs really benefit from the extra help this year, and it felt pretty close.

Is anyone else finding that completion %'s are still too high, though. I'm considering dropping it another notch to 30. I don't want to go down to zero or five like a lot of slider sets are doing, but I think we need to see a few more just poor passes. That said, I think the game is playing really well right now.

I agree that 10 minute quarter games are gonna take a good amount of time to finish. I play 7-minute quarters usually and find them to be pretty accurate stat-wise.

Almost done with the NCAA landscape. I haven't been home much since Thursday, but I should be home after work tomorrow. If not, I may need to have someone create the league. As of right now, I'm going to sit down and create it tomorrow night after work.

I really hate to do this as I was SO looking forward to probably not winning a game this season but having a blast doing it. But something very unexpected happened and I need to drop out. I'm at least glad it happened before it got started so nothing gets too messed up.

My wife and I haven't really been house hunting as we have been pretty happy where we are. But we went out for a drive Sunday as the weather actually wasn't too terrible. We came across this place for sale and it was just perfect. It has 3.5 acres, mostly naturally wooded. 3/4 of an acre is cared for lawn with a pool. We stopped and the owners were willing for us to look through. We just loved everything about it. We sat down and just worked out a deal! We'll use agents for the actual paperwork as I would have no idea where to even start. The bank has already pre-approved us for the amount. I called them this morning and everything look fine.

Anyway, now I'll be doing tons of packing and moving so my gaming time will be severely limited for the forseeable future.

Very nice good luck with everything.

Congrats - house upgrade is next on the agenda shortly after I retire. Find me online so we can have an FSU, LSU Battle Royale when you have some time.

Grats Beansy. Pass some of that luck this way!

I'm not going to lie, this wasn't easy, but I think I have our college landscape figured out. With Coolbeans gone, I reduced everything down to 3 conferences, and this really was the best way to do things. Big 10 vs Big 12 in a bowl game, Big East will get another BSC bowl. Please let me know your thoughts, I plan on creating the league at some point today now that I have the landscape figured out:

Big East (Black)
Boston College
Cincinnati
Connecticut
Miami
Pittsburgh
Rutgers
Syracuse

Big East (Blue)
Clemson
Georgia Tech
Louisville
Virginia
Virginia Tech
Wake Forest
West Virginia

BIG 12 (TBD)
Kentucky
Houston
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Texas
Texas A&M
Tulsa

BIG 12 (TBD)
Baylor
Kansas
Kansas State
SMU
TCU
Texas Tech
UCLA

Big Ten (Leaders)
Illinois
Indiana
Nebraska
Notre Dame
Northwestern
Purdue
Wisconsin

Big Ten (Legends)
Iowa
Iowa State
Michigan
Michigan State
Minnesota
Ohio
Ohio State

Hello Rutgers

Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Texas
Texas A&M

Wow - that's going to be a tough road for Tulsa.

Hopefully this year I can beat Firesloth or else I got one loss already

You've got a good team! You'll be fine.

Looks like fun! I can't wait to get this rolling.

Let's get this party started!

I played a bit last night, and I'm hoping to get another practice game in tonight.
