Secret of the Magic Crystals Catch-All

That's an awfully big aenus you've got there.

I used some aenus to make horseshoes for Anice.

Your aenus has a horse on it.

Dethroned - That Spirit gauge messed with me too... it seems that the center of the screen is "down" so the left gauge goes to the right when it decreases and the right gauge goes to the left when it decreases. Red was a poor color choice for the gauge I think.

At least that's how I read the gauges. I could be wrong.

Yeah there's a little horse emblem stamped on each one so that you know it's a horse's aenus.

So me seeing the gauge go the left is a GOOD thing? God, this game is so confusing haha

This thread is making me impatient for FFVII's PC re-release. I want to breed Chocobos but I also want to race them.

I just have to say there has never been a better implementation of the "send your magical horse off to race offscreen, and watch a clock tick for 20 seconds before it comes back" mechanic.

You could watch/read the commentator for turn by turn descriptions of the action, but I think that might make things take longer.

Actually, if you do so, it goes on for infinity. The race doesn't end until you click the green button. So much WTF in this game.

Yeah, the gameplay is rather dreadful. It borrows the timed button-clicks from rhythm games, but lacks any actual rhythm. Borrows the "task takes X amount of time, watch the clock spin" from Facebook games like Mafia Wars, their lamest feature.

And so far the game seems to have no sound effects. No clip-clop of hooves during training, no winnying after a good brushing.

I'm enjoying watching from the sidelines as all of you go mad, one ponycorn at a time.

Sidelines, you say?

Thank you?

No thanks, I had a big lunch.

This is the first and only game I've encountered that monetization mechanisms would IMPROVE.

I bought this for friend of the community ClydeFrog this morning.

I am reasonably sure I had a race end once. At the end it lists off the placement order from 10th to 1st.

I think I went to the bathroom or something. It took a while.

Good idea. Next time my SparklePony races I'll go clean out my Aenus.

Don't forget to use the sponge on your Anice.

(Is Hungarian full of crude biological humor for us?)

It told me that I won a cup, but my horse is not wearing an athletic supporter now. Does it go into inventory somewhere? Or is it like horseshoes and you don't actually see it?

You have to stroke the horse's "cup area" for a very, very long time with the brush. At least that's why I tell myself I keep doing it.

I've got at least two potential non-GWJers lined up for surprise ponies tonight. It's going to be glorious.

Why do I keep reading this thread?

Sounds like a cry for help to me... Friend invite sent (go on, you've come this far, you know you 'want in').

It's in your stable, on the shelves behind your horse.

I get that this is kinda a running joke, but ... it sure seems like some of you are really enjoying yourselves here. I think my wife would probably punch me in the face and call me some very unpleasant names if she saw me playing a game about ponies. I think I'd rather be caught watching porn honestly.

Two itches, one game.

So, I was telling my wife about this running joke that's been piling up over the last few days. She was pretty stoked about the horse caring, breeding, and the possibility of unicorns. So yeah, she's going to be playing it un-ironically.

Guys, even sick horses can run quests.

Spoiler:

Those ponies don't wear any clothes!
