Secret of the Magic Crystals Catch-All

*blink* *blink*

This game sounds kinda awesome in a "what just happened?" sense.

Absolutely Brilliant LilCodger!

Oh man. PLEASE keep the profanity-laced AARs coming.

Oh, I am so getting in on this.

And here I was planning to start playing this with my five and a half year old daughter tomorrow morning.

Should I just play it by myself in a quiet, dark room, taking random screen shots, drinking beer, and shouting at my wife, "Just another minute dear, I've almost got my ponycorn!"

That's gonna lose me some wife points right there.

No fair getting someone else to write your article for you.

Why doesn't the OP mention this is Mac compatible? That is important information!

Thing is, I'm not sure how anything I write could top LilCodger's AARs. He's just getting warmed up, too!

Can you rename horses after GWJers? It could be like the great X-Com threads, except with ponycorns.

I'm amazed that Square-Enix hasn't made a clone of this called "Chocobo Rancher: Pretentious Subtitle". Seriously, how is this not the same as the Chocobo breeding sidequest from FFVII?

You people are terrifying.

You people are unbelievable.

I think that's what you really meant, yeah?

Although honestly, I feel like we're entering into an alternate dimension with this thread--like maybe we're all actually sitting in a mental ward somewhere having a shared hallucination.

I was having the exact same thought, and exerting what little will I have against the urge to actually purchase this thing for myself. I know it will be terrible. Awful. Slightly emasculating. But it might not be. I mean, I thought the same way about Zoo Tycoon, and it was awesome.

So.
I just played a little over an hour of this ... game.
I don't know how to tell you guys this, but...

Spoiler:

I kinda sorta wanna keep playing.

I think I need to get some L4D2 time in later to forget I said that.
I'm trying really hard not to go google how to score better on the training.

So, L4D2 VS later?
(When I can't get a game together, I'll know where you lot are - in offline mode sparkling your ponies, that's where!)

This is why I'm glad the game isn't in my library--I feel like for some weird reason I'd get drawn in. Then I start dreaming about unicorns, then it's all downhill from there.

I'm playing this for my kids. And students. Yeah, for them. And certainly not because I enjoy it. I mean I don't. Enjoy it. So ignore any message from steam saying that i'm playing it. It's probably my kids. Or my students.

(how do you get the water horse??)

This is actually turning sort of frightening....

It's like a teen horror flick, people start scaring each other as a joke.. but then, it get's real...

GWJ Films presents...

A Wes Craven Production...

Based on a short story on the back of a napkin by Stephen King...

The Stepford Gamers

*bum bum BUUUUMMMMM!

See, folks, this is a plea for a copy! (I would totally gift it back except that would be the equivalent of having purchased it for myself and that would feel wrong somehow).

Aries, you gloriously evil bastard, you...

Now I have to play it!

[edit]And I'm passing on the horsey love to another unsuspecting goodjer too! MWAHAHAHAHA

Is there a LilCodger fanclub? If so… I want to join. If not… I'M STARTING ONE!!

Start a Steam Group. I'll join.

I'm curious, has a Catch-All thread ever made it into the Goodjer Commandments?

I dunno, but this one should

I'm very sure this is this the most appropriate term to use.

It has now.
