I noticed that as well. Can anyone enable the purchase of Stronghold 1 and 2 for ten bones?

EDIT: Question for you folks... Deus Ex: Human Revolution, or Mirror's Edge? I can choose only one.

Never played Mirror's Edge it looked... solid but not really amazing.

Deus Ex: HR has been my game of choice for the past two weeks and it's amazing. Solid story, excellent design that features multiple ways to solve problems, and side quests that I, of the "screw sidequests" camp, enjoy!

As much as I loved Mirror's Edge, I'll give the nod to DX:HR too. Both fantastic games, but DX:HR is more consistent, and more replayable (unless if you really love chasing ghost times).

Mirror's Edge and DX:HR are both great games and worthy of purchase. You will get more playtime out of DX:HR though so I would recommend that.

I really loved Mirror's Edge though. I beat it over the course of two (lengthy) sessions and the rhythm you get into with the freerunning is pretty awesome.

DX:HR is gamier and has RPG aspects and exploration and cheevos and all that good stuff. Mirror's Edge is a bit more arthouse.

A big thank you to bennard for Shoot Many Robots! Now I can do just that.

Yesterday was LouZiffer's 40th birthday.

Just sayin'...

Anybody buying the Batman pack that comes with Gotham City Impostors that wants to play with somebody, let me know. Love that game.

If you don't have it, it's $5 by itself.

Great little under appreciated shooter arcadey MP shooter IMO. Very goofy fun can be had.

Do you need the DLC?

Oh, you done did it now.

Ok, the GTA pack is very tempting for $12.50. Here's the deal:

1. I've never played a GTA game
2. I already own GTA IV complete edition for 360, unplayed
3. I have a huge backlog

What do you all think? Worth grabbing and maybe selling my 360 edition of IV? I did really enjoy Red Dead Redemption, but I'm not sure how much that game compares with this series overall.

If Steam had a flash deal to remove Duke Nukem from the list early just to show us the next flash deal, I bet it would outsell Duke Nukem. Just saying.

Wow. Sanctum won the vote. Who doesn't have that game yet?

I can't believe Sanctum was picked over Krater! This is a travesty!!!

Just kidding, I guess. But hasn't Sanctum been on sale a number of times before?

Last minute enablement: Stacking.

Go.

if I buy the doublefine bundle.. can I gift psychonauts to someone?

I will say that GTA 3 and Vice City are quality games. San Andreas is also supposed to be very good, but that's the only once since 3 that I haven't played. Add in the first two just for collection sake and I would say buy that shiz. I currently have San Andreas in my cart right now trying to decide on whether to grab it up or not.

Decisions decisions...

Oilypenguin gifted me a copy of Rage. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Thank you sir.

Probably not. The indie bundles tend not to work that way.

I'm wondering if ARMA 2 will be discounted more than 20%... It's not on the leaked Steam sale list: http://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/co...

Also, does anyone have an opinion about Binary Domain? Looks like it may be decent coop shooter if robots are the new zombies for you.

Nope. There are only really two that aren't cosmetic or XP booster based. The Rodeo Pirate Pack and the Steamy Punk Pack. They both include some weapon/mobility items. But you don't have to have them, as there are tons of other things to unlock and use before I'd even think about them.

I went ahead and just bought them because they're cheap.

Haven't played in awhile. Will probably hop on in a few minutes to see if new people are out there to shoot due to the sale.

1. The ports are incredibly ropey.
2. RDR is apparently miles better then any of the GTAs.
3. That pack on sale for that price all the time; at least two or three times a year.
4. You already own it.
5. Your pile beckons.
(6. RDR is not on PC, for which Rockstar engenders my eternal scorn.)

I'd already paid $11,000 in income tax fo the year, but the government is finally hitting me for my student loans. :(

Ha! My Accountant just phoned me today, I'm pretending i didn't get the call until till the Steam sale is over. My damage is bigger than that.

Perhaps I should exile myself to Siberia so I can play Syberia Bundle gifted to me by the above-average-looking Chaz. As long as there is vodka and internet.

thanks a million Chaz!

edit: I've still got a gifted copy of Limbo to pay forward. I've also got copies of Freedom Force sitting around from last summer.

What is Sanctum? Is it any Darksiders?

Oh wow... looks like Jamestown is coming to a bundle. Also World of Goo. Both games I already own, but it is possible that I may be giving the gift of one of them to some unfortunate soul that hasn't played yet.

Sanctum's been on sale like a billion times, and the part of more than one indie bundle. WTF people...

I dunno about that. I sent it to you so that you can double check.

Blah for Sanctum. No offense to anyone that voted for it, it's just not for me.
