WoW BHA: MoP Group Encounters

The initial set of group encounters in MoP looks really great! I'll include a video or two for my favorites, you can click into the rest below.

Ten-Man Raid Encounter: Vizier Zor'lok

Heroic Scarlet Halls

Shando-Pan Monastery

Scholomance
Mogu'Shan Palace
Gate of the Setting Sun
Scarlet Monastery
10-man encounter: the Stone Guardians

Can't wait to see folks in-game.

Speaking of in-game, who's coming back when Panda drops?

I'll be around. I'm pretty sure I'll be doing the new content and not achievement-whoring my way through any leftover Wrath or Cata stuff.

Hmm...pondering.

I am keenly interested in BHA's thoughts for MoP. If folks are going to be around, I want to really jump in and have fun with you guys. I'll have to schedule around work. Which (as my time in TERA played out) sometimes bites me in the arse.

I know it's not cool to like WoW anymore, but I really really do. And I hope I get to play it with you guys. Again.

I was wondering this myself lately. mainly because i'm playing way to many games, and trying to priortize.

I'm getting my mmo pvp game on with SWTOR, i'm getting my mmo story from TSW. I like MoP, and i know i'll enjoy the hell out of it while leveling up to 95, but if history repeats as soon as i hit 95 i'll pretty much be done. I'll want to jump back to the other games. Of course this doesnt account for my DayZ addiction or GW2.

Dunno how you'll level to 95 with a L90 cap, but that's about where most folks are at I'd wager.

too many games... ok up till 90

MoP will drag me back into WoW for at least a few months, I imagine.

Same here. I actually resubbed to WOW recently. Planning on getting my Alliance hunter up to 85 and use him as my first run through MoP. My pally has been my main since vanilla. Think he is going to be a second or third stringer this time around.

I was surprised to see that pretty much nobody is playing this game right now. In guild at least. Stormwind is pretty desolate most nights too.

I think I might be one of the few that is on daily....that is until the end of the month when I go back to Africa.

I may swap a few of my toons over to Horde since there isn't any raiding going on for a while. I like Horde much better anyhow and miss it. My only reason for being Alliance was for the guild....all the races other than worgen suck.

I'm hoping some more people start playing. Two of my friends have been discussing leaving the guild since no one is ever on.

It's par for the course at this life stage of an expansion. I am fairly confident that things will pick back up when MoP hits.

If you want a guild invite for the XP boost or to stop the onslaught of guild invites, I'm usually on between 7 and 9 p.m. EDT (6 to 8 server) weeknights. A few of us are doing Saturday morning achievement runs if you're interested. We're just about done with Naxx (we got stuck on Thaddus' two adds the other morning) and hope to hit some of the other 10-man raids in the next few weeks.

Yeah. Sorry I wasn't there Sunday morning.

My pally, DK and hunter are already in.

I sunk into the dopamine hole known as Diablo 3 for a while so my playtime on WoW has been pretty slim lately. I'm not going away though. Will likely be back once my interest level in the loot treadmill drops more (already sorta there - Inferno is rather discouraging). Only problem with WoW for me right now is I've just plain run out of things to do and really don't feel like levelling another alt.

Will definitely be back for MoP though.

Enix - when you have the chance would you mind changing the status of my toon (Fortuna) to be my main (instead of my alt). I originally joined the guild with a toon that has since been deleted. No rush.

In other news, I see that Blackhand is one of the servers eligible for the "Guild Mentoring Program". This program looks very strange and band aidy to me.

I think theyre trying to combat the social barrier to entry that's currently in WoW - if you're new and don't know what you're doing, most people shun you straight away or heckle you for being a noob. Especially people who reach 85 and start queueing for random dungeons bear the brunt of this assault. I -think- they're trying to get the players to police this attitude themselves.
Agreed that this seems very band-aid-y and will likely not gain much traction. Crowd-sourcing their own community problems like this probably won't work - the vocal minority of jerks in the community will shout this down pretty quick.

What he said.

Woot! Another healing fight in one of the raids!

I will certainly be there...wait, I'm already there!

Bifur
