Is anyone recruiting this season?

I'm not bothering to recruit no reason since the new game comes out in 2 weeks. I'm also not recruiting in the BCS league either.

No one wanted to go to Boston College anyways....................just saying

Wow. I'm in pain from the splash damage on that shot.

I'm actually finishing up the recruiting for this season with ND. I don't have many more on my board...I'm just trying to play spoiler to a few rivals at this point (stupid USC). Plus, I've had a pretty great recruiting season, so I'd like to see how good it can get.

Welcome to Week 3!

Yeah! Football!!

UCF ran the ball up my butt...the clock reads 00:00 but they are still running

CSU beats Houston, 27-17. Interestingly, the time of possession favored CSU 26:53 to 7:11. How is that possible? That adds up to 34:04. Are we playing 9 min quarters? I think it's just because of the three forced INTs.

The best play of the game has no replay: a 51 yard punt that rolled out inside the 1 yard line. Mine, by the way.

Holy crap...that was a tight game. GT was running it all over my defense. They had 75 rushes for 357 yards. (Marshall had 11 rushes for -57 yards (Cato was sacked an ungodly number of times). I thought they were going to run away with it at first, but Marshall sparked some life and started to close the gap. It was 17-7, then 17-14, then Marshall recovers a fumble and is able to score on a 4th and 2 to take the lead 21-17. They come back and score 24-21. I throw up a long ball on a broken coverage (they rushed one to many DBs) and took the lead 28-24 with 1:41 left in the game. Here's the sad part...they run it all the way back down the field, burning time as they go...BAM, they score with 16secs left in the game ( I thought that was that). HOWEVER, SUPRISE! Marshall blocks the extra point. Now, its 30-28. Lovett returns the kickoff to Marshall 28. 10 secs to go, Cato throws up a prayer thats amazingly answered (see part one of the highlights) to put Marshall on the GT 20yrd line. Coach Obvious knows his kicker doesnt have a strong leg, and is highly unreliable given the 14mph wind blowing against the team, but with two seconds left, he crosses his fingers and sends out the FG unit. The kick goes up, and barely goes through, but go through it does (highlight part two). Marshall fans go BALLISTIC! Final score as time expires, Marshall 31, GT 30.

Now that the story is out...time for some bad news. As you guys might remember or know from me saying somewhere else...I live in Colorado, the state that is currently burning to the ground (literally). No joke, I can look at the horizon in ANY direction and see smoke from the wildfires. The closest fire is still a couple dozen miles away but I might need to get out of town for a little if it comes much closer. I hope they can divert it long enough for me to finish the BCS league first. We'll see. Just a heads up incase you dont see me much on here in the coming weeks.

Stay safe zell.

Glad to hear your priorities are straight!

We'll see. Just a heads up incase you dont see me much on here in the coming weeks.

As Leroy says, stay safe!

Zell, stay safe.

Gentlemen, fresh off my MAC Championship campaign, I am going to retire from the 2-star league for now, and will join back up for NCAA13. Going to catch up on some old games before diving into the new college game.

Western beats BC 62-34

Ok. Its official. We are playing on heisman next year
