Hey S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Hey Oily, while it might not quite fit in the motif of the venue this year, it'd be pretty spectacular to have something like this, so everyone can find the place...

Heh. K. I appoint you head of the committee. Let me know when it's done =)

I had a thought today. If you haven't already, you should invite PlaidHat Maybe we can get him to demo Mice and Mystics, that would be great fun! They are not too too far away from the castle.
Just a thought, I do like Colby's games.

Rumor was this was already sold out. Guess that's not the case? Filthy skimmer out.

Edit: If there is overflow I have considered camping nearby. Or I could bring my Ren Fair stuff, act like i belong there, and just camp in the courtyard.

on Tuesday, June 12th[/url]]Ok, with some help I think I've stumbled on how to do things. I want to run the plan by the staff one more time to work out a few details but we should have pricing structure and sign-ups starting this week.

Yeah, did I miss the sign up?

That's the joke.

No one missed the sign up, it's coming. Issues, etc. No worries.

I am new to all of this, for all I know I was suppose to send a signed contract for my soul to oily via usps. Then after it gets lost have to trick other people into signing their souls to the oily penguin deity.

Yeah, it's a full on religious pyramid scheme. We'll have kool-aid to drink.

Sorry, guys. I wanted to get registrations going this week. As a nice change of pace, we actually have people working on it now so I hope to have good news soon.

If people are interested I can bring some packs of "The Spoils" which is a CCG like Magic, but fixes a lot of the problems of Magic. I'll have some decks to teach people and if there is enough interest we can run a draft.

Ok, so...

I'm the worst.

For one reason or another, we've had a number of web people drop out on us and we still have yet to make any decent traction on the registration page.

If you are willing to help make a simple web form for us that we can host on the existing pencon site, please send me a PM (there's even a tutorial to hook it up to Stripe so we can take credit cards). Volunteers preferred (since I and my entire staff are all volunteers and pencon strives to send all profits to child's play) but we can maybe come to an arrangement for compensation if we need to.

Ideally, I'd like to have something up and running by the end of this week.

Thank you.

I can't do any of that, but I can send a picture of my biceps to you. Will that help?

Almost certainly can help. At work and on phone so can't look at this in any meaningful sense until tonight, but PM me deets and we can figure out what's needed and how I can best assist.

So you are saying juggling two new born babies, real work, and a League of Legends addiction are making it hard to for you to get some free time?

Dimmer, PM me your email address, please. And thank you.

Free... time?

Always, Sally. You know that.

He's taking blame when he shouldn't. All that's really happened is that some situations we were expecting to work unexpectedly fell through, and we've been scrambling for other solutions.

To be totally clear, I was just doing some polite ribbing I love you guys for doing this and totally appreciate that it is a ton of work! If there is anyway I can help out that doesn't involve making a webpage, let me know. Not being a local Ohioan makes helping out a bit harder, but I like helping out with these types of events. The get-togethers I have made it to with the Ohioish GWJ crew have all been great fun.

Not a local Ohioan yet. I fully expect to have you on staff for next year if that thing happens that you're working on.

Lets not make assumptions until we have a decision from on high regarding that matter.

And by on high I mean my wife We are heading out this weekend so we should have a better idea about the future sometime next week.

From upstate NY (where I grew up) to Ohio (the state I learned to hate by graduating from Michigan)? Don't do it!

!

He is right! Don't do it! Instead come down here, Orlando could use some goodjers. Hey it never snows down here, what's not to love? Let's face it, in 30 years you would fit right in with most of the population.

Bribery. Outright bribery is the way to go. That or threaten to hold your breath until you turn blue. That's guaranteed to get the decision to go your way!

And by "your way" I mean ending up with you moving to Ohio, because who wouldn't want to do that?

Aside from those Michiganers. And they don't really count, now do they?

I think my wife is only bribeable with ice cream and my guess is she will get sick way before I can give her enough of it to balance out a move

I have (as a joke) often said that other then New England, Ohio and Pennsylvania are the states I have to drive through to get to anything interesting. Then I moved to PA and met my wife so there are a few nice things in PA. Ohio maybe the same. I might get to hang with some of the other goodjers that are just far enough away now that I can't make it out very often.

Sadly my wife is half a Michiganer (and half a Pennsylvanian, what was I thinking right? Well the combination is better then the sum of it's parts I guess.)

There may not be a lot of Michigan gwjers, but dammit we're fiesty. Watch out!

The slap and spike state, son!

Also, I think we are referred to as Michiganders. With a D you hooligans.

I'll try to save more Ohio jokes for when I'm actually in that state. You know, for PenCon.

Thank you, all. My needy little post led to a ton of PMs.

However, I think instead of working you guys to death, I think we're going to put something up tomorrow.

if that manages to get completely screwed up, then I'll be contacting you folks that PMed me.

Thanks again =)
