For those of you who don't have byes, anyone having trouble initiating a match with their opponent? I've started my match with oily (I'm convinced he's crushing me already) and am about 6 rounds in.

I'm still waiting on Justin Fletcher to reach out. Guess I'll take a try at being the lead dance partner :-)

Apologies. Fell behind on this thread. Friend request sent!

In our first game, Ranger Rick completely punked me, 89 - 71. Now I've got to win two in a row!

And yet, I still have no idea what I'm doing.

I looked up from that last round and went, "SH*T! We only have 4 stars left?!" I totally failed to plan for the endgame but it worked out anyways.

Erm, OK, I guess I messed up. I submitted our score for the first game, and it turns out I submitted the winner for the whole *match*.

Now that I've messed it up, I tried hitting "edit" and I see now that I can do "add game" to add the other 2 games for the best-of-three, but it won't let me reset the match winner to none. Can you undo what I did? I guess we have to save up all our scores before we can submit them at the end of the best-of-three all together?

Yeah....

You definitely shouldn't be submitting individual game scores because you also have to choose the match winner...

Play out the rest of your games and report the match here. I can't undo your submission but I can edit the winner when you complete the match.

Yeah, it lets me change it too, just doesn't let me change it to "no winner."

Bingo. I think that's a bug but basically they won't let you unsubmit a result. You can just change the result.

We shall strive to change the result together!

M0nkeyb0y and I just finished our first game. I beat him by a single point.

Close match.

That was indeed a great game!

I did indeed win the next two, so we need that result changed.

Good games, Rick!

Daaaaamn Fedaykin98, that was a nice comeback. I was fearing your collection of high cards the whole time. Clearly that fear was well-founded.

I've got screenshots if you don't, but I'm actually going to NYC tomorrow morning and the laptop's all packed up, so if you can update the standings first, feel free.

Hell yeah!

I especially liked it coming down to a live game at the end. Really ratcheted up the tension.

I made a couple of dumb mistakes, but you would have had me either way.

Hah! Nice!

Bracket updated to reflect Fedaykin defeating Ranger Rick. Fedaykin is now playing LeapingGnome.

For the record, I'm not the one that updated the bracket to show me advancing after winning one game over Cyrax, heh. I might have just made a 4 point mistake in game 2 as well, we'll see if I get away with it or not.

Yeah, I figured that was an error. Same mistake as Ranger Rick.

Bigred, can you e,bed this in the original post? I think I'm going to forget it's on page 4 eventually

Fed, start this after our current match?

It's not as cool anymore now that I'm in the LOSER bracket.

Sounds good!

Survived that stupid mistake I made thanks to a stupidly easy start. Won 74-60 in the second game vs Cyrax so I'll be awaiting SixteenBlue's challenge (my gamecenter ID is Ventripotent to save you the look-up). My initial 7 cards if I recall correctly were 3 elder skeptics, 2 starchilds, a granger, and an abolisher. Just kept churning the deck for lifebound honor and grabbed an artifact when available.

Mistake was taking a Tower Askara over a Cog Maw when there was only 25 or so honor left; I only drew that Askara once and it didn't get me anything useful. Must pay more attention, as the honor pool depleted very quickly there and I thought about that right after I made the pick.

Well that sucks. I was hoping for a bit of redemption from the Qt3 tourney, but my games here pretty much mirrored those. One, a domination where I didn't have a chance. The other, some good draws on both sides, but the center deck favoring one quite a bit more. Such is luck. Good plays, Outlandish, even if they were basically given to you.

Same here, getting ousted first round in one complete romp and one early Avatar/Adayu in the Qt3 tourney made me want to win a few more this time around. Was going to go join their June tourney for some revenge but got distracted by Diablo. Good games, and good luck the rest of the way, you're due some.

Sir joe just gave me a nice thrashing. Best of luck to you good sir

Good games! That double everbloom early in the second game had me pretty worried for the rest of the game.

Apollo and I have played 2 games and I've won both- do we play a 3rd or not?

Don't believe you have to, for this tourney at least; there won't be a # of games won tiebreaker or anything. Cyrax and I only played 2.

And TheCounselor wins again!

To recap:
Game one - TheCounselor 63 - m0nk3yboy 62
Game two - TheCounselor 75 - m0nk3yboy 68
Game three - NA

Do we update the chart BigRed or do you? Don't want to mess anything up

EDIT: look at that, I did it, easier than it looked.

So, to report a match do I have to sign up for a Challonge account? I'm sure this has likely been covered, sorry.
