If I didn't just buy an iPad I'd be all over this. Surprised you had to lower the price.

It's gone.

I'm just trying to get stuff out the door while I have some bachelor time, hence the fire sale:)

Wife and child out of town for a few? I've never had that privilege.

Where's the emoticon for jealousy?

Green for envy ya know?

And my wife is out of town this weekend too. I already ordered some awesome meat-loaded pizza. And I plan to gorge on games and some man-movie blu-rays the next couple of days.

It's Daddy's Mass Effect 3 time:)

kidding aside, it's tough not seeing the kids for 7 days, but i am getting a lot of work done around the house.

Oh, I'd miss them all, during the five minutes that I wasn't gleefully making up for years of missed gaming.

I am looking for 240-pin (ie. desktop) 2GB DDR2 chips.

No need for 1GB chips - I have a system with four 1GB chips and I want to acquire 2GB chips to replace them with.

I'm considering upgrading to a gtx 670. I have a Radeon 5870, the fan is starting to get a little rattle-ey (only occasionally at the lowest settings, and disappears if you turn up the RPMs). Enable me for $100 shipped.

Descent for PS1. Seems to have everything. $10 shipped.

I am seriously, seriously tempted by that system, GameGuru. I have wanted to get back into PC gaming, but my PS3 pile is already huge and I barely get time to play as it is. Heck, I don't even have the space for that awesome beast, even if I did get it. Having said that, boy do I want it.

I am looking for a graphing calculator of the TI84-TI83 variety for calculus. I figure some of you have one sitting in a drawer somewhere. Can send money, reasonably priced Steam game, etc. Pm me and we'll talk.
Thanks.

Wish I could help Mono...all I have is an HP12c!

Tagging. What--I might have money some day.

Immediately after I bought jonnypolite's GTX 570, the fan on my 8600GT started working again. I've just installed my new card, and everything's gorgeous, but I'd like to give my old card a good home, in case someone needs a slightly older card.

It's an XFX PVT84JUDD3 GeForce 8600GT XXX 256MB 128-bit GDDR3, and it runs TF2 and L4D2 just fine. Won't run everything on high, but it's decent enough for those games.

Make me an offer, cash, Steam, or 360 games.

I have a mint copy of the witcher 2 on 360, with the soundtrack and mini-guide included - looking for 35$ shipped. Also open to trade.

Incredible game.

Thought the Galaxy Nexus was on sale for $50 for current customers on Amazon this week?

But maybe you're trying to avoid a contract?

Sorry, I'm a year into my 2-year contract.

I signed up for a 3rd line when I desperately needed a smartphone for work development. $10 a month for the line, $30 to activate and that was it. So I'll be out $270 after 2 years but it saved me from buying out my contract or paying full price for a phone.

Also, sometimes you can negotiate a 2 year extension on your current contract to get that upgrade deal. Might not be worth it though.

Last idea. I know on AT&T they have their GoPhone line of prepaid phones. If you need to replace a phone you can buy one, not activate it, pop your SIM card in and you're all set. No contract changes or other hassles. Not sure if you can do the same on Verizon (aren't they SIM less? Can you add a prepaid phone to your account?)

Virgin Mobile and Cricket have the iPhone 4S "coming soon", with no contract, so if you're willing to pay for the phone, you would hopefully be able to activate it on your current contract, and only pay for one month with the no-contract service.

FYI, Virgin Mobile's availability is June 29th. The phone is the most expensive there out of all the carriers, but you still come out several hundred dollars ahead in the long run.

Yep. I have been looking at this since Virgin sent out the email at the end of May. I have enjoyed my Droid, but those 4S look pretty nice.

My GNex had a SIM. But yeah, first time I've seen one on Verizon. I thought it was a 4G LTE thing maybe, but then there are the couple of 4G phones that you can't replace the battery on so I don't know how you'd get a SIM in there.
