Hmm... how about a Dragon Sidecar?

Cognac, triple sec, lemon juice, and muddled dragon fruit.

MarsManhattan?

The Kexx (or the Frarkin frogohs)
good Whisky with bad Rum

Shalalm

I volunteer to man all the murder holes. I call dibs on the good one, the one with the biggest murderin' record, good old number 5. Ahhh. Takes me back. Started off on number 3 but a whole new world of pouring hot boiling oil down a hole opened up when I was assigned Burning Alive Number Five.

Spoiler:

I tag threads in style baby. In style!

So Teneman, is the castle haunted by chance?

If not, could you viciously kill someone so we get some cool haunting going on?

Oddly enough, after spending the last several hours on the phone with various sales reps and tech supports, I just may do that. Unfortunately, I'm back up home now, so that would result in my house being haunted rather than the castle...

In other news, we should have a 12 meg download pipe going live on Friday. It's still satellite so the latency will be an issue, and of course it's still capped, but it ought to be a huge improvement over my current <1 meg Hughes.net connection.

I'd say it's haunted by its own destiny.

It's that attention to detail that will add to the Medieval Ambience.

Awesome offer, now, can I get directions from Western Australia please?

Float Northeast. You will know that you have arrived when the flora and fauna aren't actively trying to kill you.

That would be New Zealand, actually.

You will know when you have arrived when the flora and fauna aren't actively trying to kill you, AND the domestic beer tastes like saltwater with food coloring.

Can we re-enact some historical scenes such as when Jamie Lannister killed the Mad King? I'll play the Kingslayer but minus the incest.

Re-think that last caveat, until you at least find out who's playing your sister... Remember, you're "acting!"

That's right! I never thought of that. Hmmm. If Cersei is being played by Kate Upton or Kate Beckinsale then I'm down with some tomfoolery.

Ever since I first saw that first thread I've been trying to talk my wife into it. She's pretty much convinced, it's just...Ohio is quite a ways from Georgia

We actually just got back from a vacation to Ohio, but that vacation was centered around Cedar Point. We flew to Columbus and were going to make a detour to see your place, but we just didn't have time unfortunately.

We have both said we will make it there one day though. I very much look forward to it, the place looks pretty fantastic.

I think sometimes the arm of the cheering dude \o/ gets lost in these forums when it is the first character of the new line.

Same.

This almost makes me sad I'm not living there currently.

But then I go to the beach and get over it.

'twas either a high-five, or raising one's hand

Give me a few weeks afore you book King Arthur. The old boy isn't quite up to where I think he ought to be. The hammers and toolbelts are on their way though, as is some new decor. Including Excalibur. I mean really, King Arthur's room without Excalibur? Inconceivable.

And with that disclosure Tanglebones reveals he wants to be 'tomfoolered' with by Strangeblades, pretending to be the brother to his sister...

I hope those rooms are sound proofed!

I can't wait for the photographic documenting of the act to surface in the Strangeblades picture thread...

Joining the GWJ community, I have

- found local nice gamer people
- found a reason not to loathe being in Ohio
- as much

I will definitely be spending some time at Ravenwood Castle.

That would be New Zealand, actually.

Joke kitty haz a sad.

New website is up! (assuming the DNS has propagated to an ISP near you)

I still need to replace the pictures. As some GWJers found out to their pleasant surprise recently, the pictures really don't do the rooms justice.

Let me know what you think!

I think I know what I'll be doing at PenCon. Like, the entire time. Pipe in one hand, beer in the other, contemplating when to whip out my bishop.

Pretty sure this is illegal in most public spaces...

On-topic: The site looks great, Teneman!

Wait, there's a giant chess/checkers board at the castle? Giggity!
