If the Tea Room has authentic British scones and Clotted Cream I'm in.

If it's got that, my wife will never leave. If it doesn't, and she's offered a position making scones and clotted cream, she'll never leave

Can't wait to check it out sometime!

There needs to be a weinerbomb cocktail on the specials.

Even better would be a special GWJ drink mix menu with drinks named after prominent GJW members.

OK, now I really need to find a reason to go to Ohio.

And I really need to find out where Ohio is.

Patron (looking at menu): "Is the ClockworkHouse Ale any good?"

Teneman: "You'd probably like it. But it won't like you."

Congratulations on closing! Can't wait to storm the castle and have a round at the pub.

HA! That's perfect!

The more Oily Penguins you have, the more enabled you'll be to have another.

This could get out of hand in a good way

The Certis - Canadian whiskey and seltzer water: Sprightly, but too much agitation will get you the Pimp Hand of Moderation.
The Elysium - Corona, two limes. Duh.

The Jonman

Blend two lamb's kidneys with a quart of tea. Serve with a chocolate biscuit, milk and sugar on the side.

Will be there a Derek Smart drink?

I love this thread SO HARD.

The Q-Stone - Take an 8oz brandy snifter, fill it to the rim with bourbon.

F*ck it, on second thought, just leave the bottle.

The Rob_Anybody
Moonshine served in a bottle that just says "Sheep Linament"

Double Post!
Waily Waily Waily!

This place looks just gorgeous and the state parks surrounding it make it that much more inviting. I'll be referring all of my vacationing friends and hope they come your way. Congratulations on the purchase. Hope to be there in person!

The Derek Smart drink would most certainly involve flames. amiright?

The SillyRabbit
Combine one jigger of ... look, bunnies!

Sadly there's no alcohol, so I guess the Rabbhattan will just be a roy rogers with a dusting of pipe weed.

That one takes years to finish pouring, and then you get a cup with only a small hole, and a bizarre bendy straw that doesn't quite fit.

The Boogle is not so much a drink, but the drink without any alcohol in it.

So cool to see so many Goodjers in Ohio! I thought you all were in Cleveland which is just too far from Cincinnati for my tastes. An evening in a castle in Hocking Hills though... Definitely worth the trip out of my corner of the state.

Trying to convince my wife to make a detour the next time we make the drive from New Jersey to Michigan. So far "C'mon! It's a castle!" is actually making some headway.

It worked for me.

I meant of the hard variety. Making it hard to make rabhattans and the like.

Most of my experience with limited spirit licenses suggest you can't get bourbon, whiskey, etc. They're wine based spirits or sub 45% ABV. At least that's how it works here in CA.

And if you get two of those, you have a "Four Boogle!"

I'll have a "Be the dragon, not the sidecar"

I prefer "Up against a car, dragon style."

Hmm... how about a Dragon Sidecar?

Cognac, triple sec, lemon juice, and muddled dragon fruit.
