I did a quick search in the GWJ database and I don't see this mentioned anywhere. It's a few years old now but still going strong and I don't think anyone has fully solved them yet. It's not actually a "test". It's a series of puzzles that require ... "lateral thinking". If you are fan of puzzles check it out here (www.timtang.com). He asks you to make a free login just so that it can track your progress.
You are given an image to look at, a title for the puzzle, a blurb of text below each picture, and an answer box to type in the answer. Answers contain no capitals and no spaces. Type in your answer. If you are right, it changes to the next puzzle. If it is wrong it will respond with "Incorrect answer" and bring you back. If you are wrong but close, some puzzles respond with a "you were close" style message.
You start with "traditional" puzzles but can switch back and forth to "toddler" puzzles when you get stuck. Don't let the category name fool you, they are not baby puzzles either. Other categories will become available as you progress.
Currently I am on Tradional #27 and Toddler "r".
We can discuss our progress through the puzzles here but please follow these rules:
#1 DO NOT POST ANSWERS TO ANY OF THE PUZZLES not even with spoilers tags!
#2 IF you post a hint please be sure to use spoiler tags and check that it does not contain anything too specific or reference how to solve other puzzles.
If you get completely stuck, PM me and I can offer HINTS to any puzzle I have already done. I will NOT give you the answer though.
Enjoy puzzlers...
do they need the radio? I can't even try these at work as they are way too noisy.
I turned down the music right away. Can't imagine why it's there in the first place.
aaaaaand..... begin!
I'm stuck on #4 already. I feel dumb.

I got stuck there too, I took Spanish in high school, not French.

Haha, didn't help much. I get the idea (the response to one of my answers proved I was on the right track) but I'm not really sure what it's looking for.

think of the answer you probably gave and the percentages that are involved in each of three items, leaves, radio and tree. Now find a word that fits that pattern for the last item
It's in a foreign language
Ah, I had my pattern slightly wrong and was looking for a different type of word.
Detailed spoiler..don't read if you don't want real hints
I was thinking it had to have all the vowels in the word.
I too got stuck on #4. I'll give it another shot having read the comments above (but NOT the spoilers... yet).
I turned down the music right away. Can't imagine why it's there in the first place.
I did too, but bear in mind that in at least one case already, the music did have some meaning towards solving the clue.
Here's another one that has been around for a long time: http://deathball.net/notpron/
There use to be one at etienne.nu/imagepuz/ but it's gone now.
Also, I recommend checking out http://themastertheorem.com --- it isn't a sequential puzzle, but it'll get you warmed up, and importantly it provides some solver resources like a letter-shifter and an alphanumericizer (check the "resources" area).
If you click on SETTINGS in the top right there is an option to NOT play the music automatically.
Bless you, good sir.
Also, curse you for ensuring I will accomplish very little this week.
Argh...I should be working.
Yeah, getting nothing else done today.
Okay, can someone help me out with 11? I think my browser (Chrome on Mac) is preventing me from finding the correct answer.
So I get that there's an equation in the page source (though it took forever to figure out), and when I enter that answer, it takes me to a page that looks incredibly similar to the wrong answer page, but isn't. However, when I go to view the source of that page, Chrome tells me I need to re-submit the information in order to see the page info. Anyone else on a better browser have help?
EDIT: never mind, figure out how to let Chrome do such a thing. That answer is devious.
EDIT: never mind.
I'm totally stuck on #21. Came back to it this morning hoping I'd see something fresh, but....nothing. Why is the music the jungle theme from Donkey Kong Country?!?

Reached a ... Dead End? (Sorry, I had to do that here.)
You probably just need to be faster...
Okay, so I was on the right track a couple hours ago, but wasn't fast enough with
the source click. I had found bonus.html but was clicking the 2nd redirect, not the first, and getting stuck. Got it this time, although I don't understand why "triangle" was the page with the clue. I just tried them all.
Any insight into that one?
I am so bad at these.
Just starting... ooooh boy.
Any hints for level 42.6 please? Been stuck on it now for three weeks!
Hi. Im pretty sure that this forum is completely dead at this point. However I am REALLY desperate. Im stuck on level 48. I've been stuck here for literally 6 months. So im not looking for any small hints. I know its a lot to ask but i would like someone to message me with the answer or the equation. Thanks in advance!
Looks like all of the answers up through level 100 are available here. Use caution as there aren't any spoiler warnings or anything.
