Summer Concerts

Ticketmaster. I tend to not buy my tickets through them, but they have listings for bands coming through your area on their website.

Songkick.com is probably the most popular and prevalent. Lots of sites, including band camp, pull from it. And I use SongBird as my media player. There's a Songkick plug-in that lets me know when bands in my library are playing.

They also send out a weekly email with the new tickets that are on sale. It's a good way to keep an eye on what's coming up. TicketWeb is another vendor/promoter that does a similar thing.

ARISE!!!

Ok, not technically a Summer concert, but in October I will get to see dweezil Zappa play hsi father's music again.
Zappa plays Zappa

I saw them a few years ago with my brother and sister but due to being inebriated from drink and smoke i was too wasted to enjoy it to the amount it was entitled to. I felt bad that I let Dweezil down so I was amazed to see that the tour was still going and that he was coming back. I vowed to go this time mostly sober!

From what I do remember of the previous show it was amazing. Also Lou Diamond Phillips was on stage playing the tambourine. That was a little surreal.

This is going to be awesome!

My parents got me tickets to see a collection of John Williams best (most recognizable) music scores that he's written on the night that John Williams himself is directing.
