D'aww - you were great too, roomie!

Had a wonderful time - now I'm going to have to seriously consider coming out in October, you bastards.

I dunno how much influence I can have on this since I resigned my board membership, but a part of me really wants a weekend of Gears 3 horde mode.

The ill-fated voyage of the BattleStar Galactica ends on (I think) turn 4 as we run out of gas. Somebody left their FuelPerks in the other uniform. ErikTheRed was President Zarek, Hox was CAG Lee Adam, I ran Chief Tyrol, Zonk/Cheeto were the newly promoted Admiral Gaeta, and our overly enthusiastic "We're the Cylons!" were the stripped of rank Admiral Cain / NSMike and attempted Coup De Ta-er Tory / Fedora.

You forgot the most important part.
"f*ck humanity!"

We are all home and bedding down. Wonderful weekend guys we had great fun all around. I look forward to the next one.

P.S. Campaign to have IGWJD on any weekend other then the 3rd weekend of October, or it will conflict with Apple Butter... and well we will be busy sturrin' it up.

Remember that one time, when I made it all the way to the daytime in Werewolf?

That was a real hoot

This never happened.

Looks like good nerdery all around! Jealous of the Artemis setup. Glad the flag made it!

Any idea on the total headcount?

28, I think...?

Had to be more than that. We had 20 the first night and a bunch of people who did Saturday only.

I think LockAndLoad's number is about right.

I counted 27 at around 5pm on Saturday. I could have missed a head or two that were out of the room at that moment.

Heading home on the bus now, had an awesome time!
I lost every game other than BSG, I wouldn't really say I won that either.

Sorry for not talking very much most of the time and talking too much in Werewolf

Special thanks to Mono (and Amanda/Leland) and Cheeto (and Jake) for making me able to actually be there.

Thanks to Oily (and everybody that helped him) for setting everything up. Though I'm bringing a taser next time for if you try to tickle me again...

Thanks to the people who showed me how to play games and the people I played with.

Steve, Amanda, Leland, Kurt, Jake, Brian, Chris, other Chris, other Steve, Dan, Rob, Mike, Mike Zenke, Matt, Allen (my spelling may be wrong), Erik, Blue, and Kengi (I'm sorry I forgot your meatspace names!).
And the people who's names I didn't catch or forgot (sorry!) I know there's a few I can see in my head but can't put names to them.
And the DGR guys.
And the Artemis guy.

I loved all the games I played, even the ones I did terrible at (all of them).
7 Wonders, Cosmic Encounters, Werewolf, BSG, Race for the Galaxy, Artemis (*drool*, must play again), Betrayal at the House on the Hill (or something like that), Citadels, Cards Against Humanity (even if I didnt get all the jokes), and anything else I forgot.

Summed up: It was Zouper.

Yes! Oily plz re-title thread.

OOO! OOO! Just sick me onto him.

So, just as an update: I woke up about an hour ago for the first time since I got home. Which was at about 5 last night. Medically induced comas are delicious.

The two-ish days I was concious for in Ohio were hellah fun. Thanks again for inviting me out, Oily. Good stuff.

And heck, the hallucinations I had Saturday night were pretty fun too!

For October I'm creating an outfit made out of pure Vitamin C. That'll set me straight.

Thank you so much to everyone as well. I have never eaten so many Gummi Worms in my life!

I have a pretty good video of Artemis being played, I do not know how to post it from my phone. I may be able to just forward it to Oily and he can figure it out

I had a blast as usual and enjoyed learning so many new games. Thank you for being patient with me!

So, GAMES (first time I played any of these):

Lords of Waterdeep - Game of show for me, and not just because it was the only time I actually won anything. Worker placement done best.

7 Wonders - Accessible and it seems like everyone loves it, so I probably don't need to say much more.

Citadels - Sad we didn't play this more than once. It was a blast and easy to understand.

Chrononauts - Fun and quirky card game with a great theme. Easy to learn/teach.

Roll Through the Ages - Quick civ building game with dice. Another winner.

Betrayal in the House on the Hill - Didn't get a good sense of this game because we were so unlucky. Ox smash.

Troyes - Hurt my brain at first. Another good worker placement game. I think I love meeples too much.

Blood Bowl Team Manager - Fun card game that provides a lot of twists, turns, and comebacks. Enjoyed it once I figured it out.

Werewolf - It's frickin Werewolf. Nonsense!

Cards Against Humanity - Tired of it after a short while. Apples to Apples'd out for a few years still, I think.

Artemis - It was fun, and I get it, but I never ended up playing it on a challenging level or role. Felt kind of disconnected being the engy.

I think that was about all I played.

PEOPLE:

Extra shout outs to the people I ended up hanging with the most: Fed, Erik, Rob, Hox, Doak (note the mixing of real/nick/forum names, reflecting the continual blurring of friendship lines!). It was really good to see familiar faces again from Oily, Mono&wife, Keldar, Cheets&Jake, Mike, Toph, Kurt, Jeff/Steph. Good to meet new people like Ken/Sam (who were very nice and patient teaching) and Zenke too.

What a great family we have!

I will probably not eat another gummi worm for a very long time

I ate a ton of them as well, however, I personally prefer Gummi Bears. Not that there's a big difference, but there's less to chew on, which makes it a better snack-type candy.

You can have gummi orgies more easily with the bears. Btw, these are the gummi rats of my youth:

Erm... did anybody lose a Flash drive and a little USB adapter? I found one in my bag and I dont know where it came from!
The flash drive says "PNY 16GB" and it has a little cover that rotates around it. The adapter is just for a smaller sized USB port.
I swear I didn't steal it on purpose!

What's on it? Sexy pictures? If so, and depending on quality and gender, it's "mine."

It's blank, no nudies of either gender.

The only other person there who had any significant computer hardware was Thom, the Artemis guy. You might want to float a message to LockAndLoad to ask him if he's missing one, if no one else comes forward.

Put some on, a mix of both, before you return it.

/good citizenship after all

False alarm, it was my mother's.

"All" is a part, right?

Does GoW3 have gardening?

Believe it or not, yes it actually does.
