I'm going to Canada this weekend for the first time in 15 or 16 years. First time I've left the country in 5 years. About time.

Once you go "eh", you can't stay away.

OMG, UR so eh.

I love having read this last page of stuff after having a really hard day at work. Just what I needed. Sadly, I'm too tired to come up with another witty line about Canada's awesomeness.

My 10-year-old daughter just complained that Obama was responsible for the price increase at Golden Corral. When I asked her why she thought that was the case, she said she saw on the news that he was trying to pass the Buffett Tax. Awesome.

Don't play Prototype 2. Play Thelemite. It's super.

Thanks to Rock Paper Shotgun's Nathan Grayson who said this about the game:
"I karate-screamed through the air and mercilessly punted each and every one of those things. I was also able to scamper up buildings like a teenage mutant ninja squirrel and build up a special attack by sort of, you know, slaughtering innocents."

Eh. Some thread.

Bacon and swiss cheese croissants. DAMN these are good.

Well done.

My daughter made it through the entire MRI, almost 90 minutes inside the tube, without panicking and was able to do everything that the tech asked of her, despite his horrid accent.

Glad to hear it! As an adult I had a heck of a problem with that.

You exchanged endless hours of video game time for a jorb? Bah. Pfft. I don't even know you any more man.

I got to know you through hours of endless.. surveillance.

I am about to put 11 pounds of brisket, 16 pounds of pork butt, and 5 pounds of turkey breast on the smoker. I feel pretty good about this.

I did this last year for Memorial day. 11lb Brisket, 6lb boston butt, 5 slabs of ribs, 2lbs of wings, 2lbs of brats. I was banned from the grill for the rest of the year because I cooked for 40 people but had INVITED NO ONE TO MY HOUSE. We still refer to that day of 24hr grilling as the Meatpocalypse.

So basically, I'm drooling in jealousy. Care to share any rub/marinade/bbq/tips for the rest of us smoker/grill worshippers?

My new favorite snack: one hard-boiled egg seasoned with pepper on a bed of baked kale seasoned with onion powder and garlic sea salt, slathered in extra virgin olive oil.

YUM.
