I'm rocking NFL Network myself. NFL Draft Kickoff show!!!
I'm stuck with ESPN and no NFL Network at my sister's house. Man, they sure are a one trick pony. How long can they say the same things over and over again? Oh, all day long. Meh.
Hehe.. Are you sure they are repeating themselves or is it the 1/2 hour sportcenter show cycling. I'm almost positive they cycle it until about 5 then they start putting on new programming.
I just downgraded my cable from "Extreme" to "Premium" and I lost NFL network. I'm going to miss it but it would have cost me $240 a year.
Wow, a Logan sighting! I hope you appreciate that you're still in my sig after all these years. I don't think you ever told me how the honeymoon was for you, by the way.
I will be busy and not watching the draft.
Don't fedora me you assholes.
Final PFT Mock Draft for you to praise or boo.
They're figuring the Panthers will pick DE Fletcher Cox. I'm good with that.

(random rambling while waiting for the draft)
I don't have cable, thus only get ESPN via the highlight segments on the 360. They show most of First Take every day, and i've been absolutely astounded at how many Tim Tebow segments they'll have. There's been at least one Tebow segment a day for the past two weeks I think. The topics will be like this:
(one of these per day)
1. So, the Jets got Tebow, discuss
2. the Tebow circus is in town, discuss
3. Will Tebow ever start at QB for the Jets?
4. Do you think Tebow is worthy to be a starter?
5. How long till Tebow starts at QB for NY?
6. How does Tebow rate as a QB?
7. Sanchez dissed Tebow by calling him a good free weight spotter, discuss
8. How many games in till Tebow starts?
9. Will Santonio Holmes accept Tebow as a starter?
10. Will Tebow play front blocker on punts?
edit: 11. Jet's 29th string WR says Tebow throws a bit stronger than Sanchez ... discuss! (today's Tebow segment)
They had two guests that called this streak "stupid", and Hugh Douglas about came unglued on the #10 topic -- saying "this is RIDICULOUS. Why are we discussing this AGAIN? Seriously? We've got NBA playoffs this week, we've got the draft in 2 days, and we're on Tebow AGAIN? I mean, really. We're pre-draft and we're discussing the special teams placement of a 2nd stringer?!"
I was cheering Hugh and the rest of the regulars looked kind of stunned.
Ok, proceed with the 'why do you watch that show?' and "ESPN sucks" comments

That is one bizarre looking mock. They have Dont'a Hightower going 11th, and Luke Kuechly going 17th. They have the Bucs taking Gilmore 5th, and Miami taking Melvin Ingram, and Tannehill going to ... Seattle?
weird.
Mark Barron might be the hottest name on the board right now, and I've seen him projected as high as 7th. He started out mid to late 1st rounder, IIRC.
PFT has been trying to be different for being different's sake, kind of like when they were banging the drum for Tebow to Jacksonville a few years ago. They're twits.

Yeah, I have no idea what Seattle would want with Tannehill. It's like they picked names out of a hat for picks 3 thru 32.
Cleveland has apparently traded a 3rd to Minnesota to switch spots to take Richardson. Step 1 of my plan is complete. Now either Minnesota takes Kalil, or they take Claiborne and Tampa trades down for more picks.
Good haul for Minnesota.
Just saw on twitter cleveland traded to #3
Edit:posting via phone lag!

Why does that makes sense for Cleveland. Minnesota wasn't going to take Richardson. Unless they were worried about who else would trade for the pick.

The latter thing you said. They were worried Tampa would trade up and get him (they wanted him bad)
If Richardson goes 3rd, he'll be the highest selected RB since Reggie Bush went 2nd in 2006.

Which is why I'm ecstatic. Didn't want a back that high. Prefer Claiborne, then trade down, and hey, if Kalil's the best player available, take him. I've gotten a good vibe from Greg Schiano so far; he seems like a stable, hardworking guy who is at least going to avoid the usual flashy-college-coach-flames-out thing. I'm really curious to see how he handles this.
The radio guys I'm listening to couldn't figure out the "Cleveland traded up so no one else can" angle. It was killing me.

Wow. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to football stuff but I was able to figure that out in the five seconds it took me to write that previous post.
God, Minnesota just raped Cleveland. A 4th, 5th, and 7th, to move up one spot?
Man, I was looking back at past drafts. I know everyone knows this, I'm just reflecting, but in 2007 the Raiders passed on Calvin Johnson, Patrick Willis, Derrell Revis, and Adrian Peterson ... for JaMarcus Russell. Ouch.
edit: the ESPN.com comments on the Browns/Vikings trade are comical. Very few people there got it either, and are calling it the "worst trade ever" and such.
Without hesitation, I can say that ESPN.com has the worst comments on the entire internet, including Youtube.

Yeah, I saw that. It was probably a bidding war with TB.

I'm glad Cleveland "won".

One thing I just read is that the picks Cleveland gave up are in the 100's, and they had 13 picks to play with. I think it was a decent trade for both sides.
and grats on getting Claiborne, he'll be a prize possession on defense for a long time.

My web presence is stronger than ever, albeit not so much in the gaming realms as it used to be. But I am gonna try to post in here more often, if only because Mechwarrior Online, and thus war, is coming.
Cleveland still has 10 picks, I think they'll be okay. Kind of wish Richardson went to a different division though.
Edit: LUCK IS ON THE PHONE!!!! WHO KNEW?!?!?!?!?!
Andrew Luck looks like the guy the football team picked on, not the quarterback.
Well pretty crazy going with a QB first, I didn't think teams did that anymore. Hope it doesn't bite you in the butt like last time Colts.
The 2nd pick of the draft goes to Andrew Luck's teeth.
That Indy hat is ugly as hell.
That highlight where Luck caught a pass one-handed just impressed the hell outta me.
EDIT: Thought the same, Garion.
