Possible job here in NYC. There is a good chance that we are going to get another person who knows how to 3D model, light and texture within Maya. Also have to know Photoshop of course and some After Effects. We've been overloaded with worlk and can use a 4th hand.

I work for Ralph Appelbaum Associates and we create museums all around the world.

Ah well, I have a friend who fit that bill perfectly and just moved *out* of NYC

How about skills in CATIA or Solidworks?

My company (we make games, located near Boston) has a number of openings:

Lead Concept Artist

Lead Designer

Project Manager (as in producer superhero)

Server Programmer

Sr. Server Programmer

There's one more listed for MMO gameplay server programmer but I'm not sure that's still open.

Apply through the website but also PM me. I'm QA Lead here so no hiring power on any of these positions but a recommendation never hurts

I realize this is probably not the thread for it, but I need some help reshaping my resume to apply for Telecom Business Analyst jobs.

I'm still pursuing a career in law enforcement, but need to hedge my bets.

A sudden surge of activity in this thread seems to indicate that the economy is definintely on an upswing.

Edit: Paleo, aw , man

I have heard rumblings of a job fair in Providence on 5/31- I bet a lot of employers will jump on it with the closing of 38 Studios in the same area. Has anyone else heard about this fair?

I start my new job on June 1 and the company is still looking for experienced telco sales reps in the Baltimore/Washington area. Total comp is just over $100k for on plan earnings. It's not going to be easy work, but nothing lucrative ever is.

Not my dream job, but I hope it will help me work toward a lesser level of misery. I'm still in process with Monkey County Po Po, but they won't start that until next year. I'm also pursuing getting my PMP so I can pimp folks out.

It will mostly just be nice to get paid. Hopefully, I'll be able to convince my wife to let me go back to martial arts classes.
