PAX East 2012 Catch All & GWJ Meetup

It's wonderful work, but I'm a fan of consistency and would prefer the classic Stan and logo, myself.

Great job! Love it!

Very nice!

I had Artscow.com make a double sided pillow case as that was the cheapest/biggest fabric print I could get. I figure I can fold over the edge and sew up a pocket to slide over a dowel rod and either tape/clamp it to the back of a chair.

I also had a few buttons made of both Stan and Bombsfall's artwork to wear and share with fellow PAX goers.

:p

Everyone's entitled to their opinion / critique. It's just a personal preference thing anyways, so I wouldn't worry about looking like a jerk

I like the stan logo too, but having an alternate design is a nice option! Actually, the flag logo would go nicely with the dark grey on grey starburst 1950's/1960's style banner on the site.

Anything for a fellow Jersey-ite! (especially for one in SoJo)

Please don't call it SoJo.

Personally, I love it. Sure I love stan. But I'm a big bombsfall fan.

I like them both.

On another note, is anyone going to cosplay this time around? I'm debating bringing my Sophie costume.

We have a Yoda costume for our son... so we will kinda cosplay.

I believe Tanglebones' wife will be bringing a costume or two.

I could recycle my Denis Nedry costume from Halloween, but it wasn't the most comfortable to stand around in (particularly due to the lack of glasses and my paranoia of contacts getting lost somewhere around my eye ball). As such, I will gladly take photos of all the cosplayers and dream of hitting on potentially-jailbait female Ezio again (because, y'know, there aren't enough nerds doing that sort of thing at PAX).

Ahh Beard-Li and Hung-Li was it? Fun memories.

In case anyone is sticking around past Sunday, Frontalot sent out an email this morning saying he's playing with The Protomen at the Middle East restaurant/music club in Central Square, Cambridge on Monday night at 8 PM.

The middle east is an AWESOME small music venue, by the way.

...depending on your hipster tolerance level.

A bit off topic, but how's the food? I haven't been there yet, but my parents are hosting an exchange student from Egypt and will be coming for a visit in late April. If the food is good / authentic I figured it might be a good option for lunch.

I've eaten there once before a show. I won't again.

Speaking of food... Have we started thinking about the meet up? Are we going to do the Seaport bar again or somewhere else? What day? Time? This month will be over before we know it.

Weren't the Overlords going to rent a meeting room in the Seaport?

You dont go to the ME for food, you go for "divebar music venue awesomeness."

Zima optional.

*scratches Middle East off list of places to eat*

Thanks for the anti-recommendations both of you

Zima isn't an obligation so much as a subculture identity card.

I wouldn't know. I didn't like PBR before it was uncool or cool, whichever it currently (or recently) is, is not, or was.

I havent been on in forevers! I had a great time at PAX last year as the lil photog. Looks like the 3 day passes are already long sold out though for 2012. Maybe I should just go for Sunday? I wouldda wanted Sat and Sun though. Fail.

Dis! It would be fun to see you again. You could meet the little man and then we could go win some more keyboards If you do find your way up text me. If you don't still have the number PM me.
