[trailer] Avengers! My day is made

long hair = bacon
short hair = no bacon

Priorities, people!

Her hair is bacon?

I think the whole mask thing has to do with it limiting the range of the actors' facial expressions. Reminds me how in every Spiderman flick he managed to get the thing torn off.

That's just Spiderman. The amount of danger he's in is directly proportional to how torn up his costume is.

I watched again and still loved it but I don't understand why when they are all in a circle Cap has his mask on. None of the others do. If wearing a mask is to hide you "day job" identity then a mask make no sense for him. In fact the only people who would have secret identities to protect would be Black Widow and Hawkeye since Stark admitted being Iron Man. It just seemed odd. I wonder if it will be explained.

You say that like it wouldn't make sense to give him a secret identity after he wakes up in modern day. He's still a dude that needs to live his own life. The government will likely set him up with a new identity.

But Hawkeye, and Black Widow don't need secret identities? Why not? Because they are government agents....well isn't Cap?

Anyway almost any reason I can think of can be debunked. It just seemed very odd.

Speaking of women, I did read that Black Widow is the only female member of the team. Seems like they are bringing in a lot of supporting players to make up the difference. I wouldn't be against them using the movie to introduce Wasp, but I know these ensemble flicks can have a difficult time giving everyone enough screen time. Then again, X-Men First Class managed.

Well, there weren't any well known actors in First Class other than Kevin Bacon and Oliver Platt so it wasn't really an issue.

I read once (don't remember where sorry) that it is something the actors basically demand. They want their faces on screen so they don't want to be behind a mask for the whole movie.

Emma Peel was also an Avenger.

Squirrel Girl is the Avenger's nanny. She's unbeatable.

Possibly my favorite Avenger too. Meow!

Sometimes it's not about need, it's about choice. Sometimes it's just about fashion, baby!

her hair is bacon.
short hair may be cute, but long hair is BACON

oh and the rest of the movie looks meh.

Bacon is a metaphor for long hair. If her long hair was literally bacon, she'd be bald.

To paraphrase:

I'd eat That!

I've seen Ironman (fun), Captain America (painful), Thor (somewhat fun), but have yet to see any new Hulk movies. Which one is canon for the upcoming Avengers movie? I think there were 2-
8 Hulk reboots/restarts/upstarts/smart-cart Hulk movies made in the past 10 years, and I wanted to watch the one that was the backplate for the upcoming Avengers movie. Which one is it?

Since we seem to have the same opinion regarding the other movies (maybe you thought a little more of thor than I did, but that's ok), I'd suggest the Edward Norton Hulk over all the others.

Ed Norton's is canon. It's marvel produced. And agreed on your assessment of the other movies. Cap America for me was way more than painful to watch...

But, I'll take Captain America over the Fantastic Four driving a Dodge with that lame Hemi joke.

Most of us knew better than to watch any of the FF movies...

Disagree about Captain America, though I will say that it was very different in tone than the other recent Marvel movies.

It was a much more straightforward "here are the good guys, here are the bad guys" black and white kind of flick. I liked it for that.

*squee*

I just nerdgasmed so hard I think my vasectomy reversed itself.

HULK SAVE!

yup

I was never into comics as a kid (still don't read much today), but I like these movies. They're unadulterated fun as far as I am concerned!

That gave me chills.

I wasn't really excited about this movie until that trailer.

If that trailer didn't spread a big, stupid grin all over your face then you might be a robot.

Bedeep bedeep bedeep. Okay, Buck.

I've never had a vasectomy before, but this trailer gave me one and then reversed it.

If I wasn't in public I would have literally squeed out loud.
