What better way to promote the NFL overseas, then to schedule one of the league's worst teams to play there over the next 3 years.

New England vs St Louis is next year. #pats53-6

Then cynic in me says they got the team that could afford to lose some gate revenue. And a team that's a relocation threat. Maybe they'll fall so in love with the Rams that the NFL expands into Europe.

Rams fans in St. Louis are in full meltdown mode. They were worried enough about the team going to LA. Plus, agreeing to give up three home games is kind of a kick in the face to local economy. No one is happy here at all.

Yeah LA is the danger, not London. LA wants a team so bad right now, they'll take anyone.

But bro. They got Jeff Fisher. THE Jeff fisher. How they hell could they not be happy about 6 winning seasons out of 16. I mean REALLY?

Might be time to ease off grinding that axe, Gumbie. Getting a bit tiring.

This was not by mistake. She's a clever and manipulative woman.

What is the over under for dubious roughing calls on Brady today?

I don't know, but take the over.

It has just occurred to me that perhaps the reason there were so many utterly bogus roughing calls during the Texans-Colts game is that the refs are conditioned to call those for Indianapolis.

I'll take the Pats over the Ravens
and Giants over the 49ers. That being said Go Niners!

It's entirely possible. Habits are hard to break.

I'm in the same boat. I'm obliged to go to this blasted concert that I'd forgotten about until a few days ago. There is no way out. It marks the first moment when I've felt an upside to my Saints' loss last weekend.

Lots of punts so far. And 2 field goals. Where's that super-duper Patriots offense?

omg.. Welker such a Female Doggo... wants a flag on everything.

Steven Tyler has a nice seat... was that his daughter??

Let's talk about what really matters: Steven Tyler quite possibly set a new standard for poor performances of our national anthem. Off-key, unnecessary embellishments, and the worst crime of all: biffing the lyrics.

Related: this has been a really boring first half.

Brady is not on. Missed quite a few easy passes. The D is doing a very good job of stopping Rice though.

Well yeah it's the Pats pass defense that is suspect. And Baltimore has had some long plays, and some others that Flacco just missed.

Momentum definitely with Ravens at the moment. Let's see if they can take advantage.

Uh... INT of the year?

How do you not kick the field goal there on 4th and 6 to tie the game?

Maybe if they hadn't lost yards on 3rd down?

Weird decisions though, on both plays.

I have the game on low volume - what was the wind situation like? That would have been a 53-yard kick.

No idea. I really wish they'd just done that rather than risk it. Time for the D to really step it up.

Announcers said he was missing 50+ yarders in pregame.

Well, it didn't go all bad. They got the ball back and get to run a two-minute drill to get back into scoring distance.

That wasn't a fumble. Ball was knocked loose hitting the ground.

And why isn't that a TD? Looks like that one controversial one from... ah hell, I forget who... he had the ball in both hands, in the end zone, both feet down... oh well.

OH SNAP SON

What a tweest!

Oh man...

I guess that's why they didn't kick the 50+ yarder... he can't make the easy one.

half the nightmare is complete...

Bily Cundf, I proclaim you the second coming of Ray Finkel.

Super aggravating. Should not have gone for it on that 4th & 6. GAH!!!!!

I would hate being a kicker. There was an entire game of football that had blown plays, missed chances, and other aspects of play that lead up to that situation - but it's the blown kick everyone will remember and talk about.
