I'm not sure we talked about it. Should we do 3 or 4 days when there are no HvH games (with flexibility for issues that come up) and +1 day when a HvH game is involved?

What say you, Commish?

I 2nd that!

Will log on tonight to finish recruiting

Rice is done, forgot you can recruit on PC.

sounds good to me. I understand the responsibilities of being a parent so if stuff happens, it happens.

mm...I think we should move that back to 5 days for each league when there is no HvH matchups and 7 days where there are. I work 40+ hours a week, got an outside life, an MMO life and play in 4 different online football leagues. I try to not hold things up, but...whew its a lot of stuff.

Looks like we're on to week 2.

All I have to say is – I hate bye weeks!!!

Rolled to week 2!

(guess I should have hit the submit button an hour ago)

Central loses to Cincinnati in double OT! Damn, thought I had them.

Marshall pulls an upset, giving the #19 Mississippi State Bulldogs a lot to think about with a 51-24 mauling in Huntington.

The game started as anyone would expect. The Duo of HB Ballard and QB Relf were running circles around the Herd. They were able to put together a long string of runs aided by some serious penalties by the Marshall Defense. Marshall's run game was non existent the entire game going 19-51yrd while MSU put up 39-321yrds. The tale to be told however was that thanks to some big holes in the MSU secondary, Marshall was able to take it to'em and get a very respectable 508 passing yards on 18 completions and 6TD's (something that would have made Tim Tebow Proud).
The third quarter things just fell apart for the bulldogs. The first series of the second half, their all american HB was sidelined for the game with an injury which was quickly followed by the starting WR. The same series Bulldogs QB Relf was injured on an option play and was out til the last two minutes of the game. The benchwarmers for the Bulldogs were way to shaken by the set of injuries and being down 42-21 to do much. In the end, Marshall was able to bring out an upset that is sure to get the fans fired up for the rest of the season.

Week 1 recap: Temple cut the lead to 24-14 with 2 minutes to play, and I recovered an onsides kick for the first time ever while holding 2 timeouts. Sadly, the 1st play was a sack, and all hope was completely lost.

Please don't roll yet, I need to recruit.

So heart breaking loss to Ole Miss. Wa down by 4 in the 4th and my WR fumbles at the 10 and I never had a chance after.

Temple gets screwed on a 4th and goal at the 1. Replay shows he almost certainly scored, yet the refs marked him a full yard short of the goalline. Down 20-3, Temple scored a TD, and for the 2nd time in 2 weeks, recovered the onsides kick. This week, Temple capitalized off their good fortune, and cut the lead to 20-17 with 2 timeouts and about 1:30 to play. But Arizona converted a 3rd and 3 on a shotgun draw, and was able to burn the clock from there.

You've had a tough early schedule! You had to play Arizona and Vandy while I played Eastern Michigan. Hahahahahaha...

Sorry, man, it sounds like a tough loss.

EDIT: Holy cow. Your schedule doesn't get any easier with Colorado and Boise St. upcoming!!!

Yeah, no sh*t. Thanks Leroy!!!! BTW, add Week 5 in there, when I play you

Speaking of Leroy, Temple is done recruiting (and bleeding from the a$$hole), roll this mofo.

I got mine in the other league! I also end up playing Colorado and someone else strong at the end of the season.

Wait, can the commish roll using the web?

Yes he can

Rice is done, gonna be a long season.

Looks like the week 2 is done.

Man, week two was tough for everyone...yet, no one was surprised to see a ranked team fall to one of us two stars this week though?

Hopping on now to roll and handle the other league stuff

Plus, everyone's schedule was a C- and we all have the same number of home games.

Got a commitment from a 3* HB. Least if my worries, but nice have.

HAHA...was looking at the rankings...I dropped MSU from 19th to not even ranked...that awesome...

Western Mich, when do you want to play? I am available Thursday after 8pm eastern and late Sunday (after the playoff games)

I'm good for late sunday Zell

Central Michigan takes their frustrations out on BYU, 45-6.

Awesome, I have until Sunday to recruit and play my game

cool...I should be on within 15 minutes of the end of the ravens game

I should be able to get my game in on Saturday night.

Ugly. CSU loses to Miami, 31-7. Miami's runners couldn't be tackled and their QB couldn't miss. At the same time, my offense couldn't do anything in the redzone.

Miami's QB finished 11-14 for 122 yards. Their leading rusher had 166 yards, 96 of those after the first hit. All told I gave up 440 yards of offense. 318 yards of that on 40 rushes! That's about 7.5 yards per carry, give or take. (Watch the highlights...ugly.)

The game was brutal.

Zell did you want to play after the Ravens game or the Packers? Because the Ravens game is listed as the early game.
