Week 17 Pick 'Em: I guess boogle was having everyone over for Christmas on Perfection Island. That'll make you forget the week before, won't it?

Jayhawker: 47-33

Elliotx: 42-37

*Legion*: 40-40

By my arithmetic, only Minase and Nightmare have a mathematical chance of overtaking boogle. This rest of you dogs are out of the hunt for the trophy. Our final helping of games includes...

Cowboys vs. Giants: The one for all the marbles and the loser's going to lose theirs. Giants.

Titans vs. Texans: I'll take Houston without an offense over most people's complete teams. Texans.

Chiefs vs. Broncos: Kyle Orton gets the last laugh. Chiefs.

Chargers vs. Raiders: How could I not go with the Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiders?

For my wildcard, I'm going full homer and picking the Niners over the Rams.

Happy New Year!

Cowboys vs. Giants

Titans vs. Texans

Chiefs vs. Broncos

Chargers vs. Raiders

Wildcard: 49ers vs Rams

TEXANS, baby!

Well, so much for trying to make up some ground on Boogle.

Cowboys vs. Giants

Titans vs. Texans

Chiefs vs. Broncos

Chargers vs. Raiders

Wildcard: Steelers vs Browns

I can only hope that I go 0-5 this final week.

I should have been betting on this sh*t.

I'll leave this genuinely educational and amusing video about the Titans here:

49ers... can clinch a bye. Holy crap it's been over a decade.

Cowboys vs. Giants:
Titans vs. Texans:
Chiefs vs. Broncos:
Chargers vs. Raiders:
Wild Card Steelers vs. Browns:

Giants
Texans
Broncos
Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiders

Wild Card:
Steelers over Browns

Cowboys vs. Giants: Giants
Titans vs. Texans: Texans
Chiefs vs. Broncos: Broncos
Chargers vs. Raiders: Raiders
Wildcard Pick: Steelers vs Browns: Steelers

Whatever boogle puts, I'm taking the opposite.

Cowboys vs. Giants: Because it's just not the end of the season without a Cowboys collapse.

Titans vs. Texans: Because the Texans' third-string QB is better than pretty much all of the Titans offense.

Chiefs vs. Broncos: Because Kyle Orton JUST WINS GAMES. Wait, at least that's what they used to say.

Chargers vs. Raiders: Because NORV cannot be killed unless you aim for the head.

Bucs vs. Falcons: Because I enjoy self-torture and, regardless of the predetermined outcome, I will wear my Ronde jersey for what will very likely be his last game.

Giants
Texans
Chiefs
Raaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiidddeers
Steelers

Okay, so not quite going against boogle on all of these:

Cowboys vs. Giants: Giants.

Titans vs. Texans: Texans.

Chiefs vs. Broncos: Broncos.

Chargers vs. Raiders: Raiders.

Wildcard: I'm going big here. Lions over the Packers.

Giants
Titans
Chiefs
Chargers

49ers over Rams

Most people picking the Giants this week.............................that scares me, where is Guru?!?! I need more people to pick the Cowboys to ease my mind!

Tony Romo....

for us neutrals this could be the most epic Romo rollercoaster to date.

Yeah, even with a healthy Romo I would still pick the Giants at home.

Cowboys vs. Giants
Titans vs. Texans
Chiefs vs. Broncos
Chargers vs. Raiders

Wildcard: 49ers vs Rams

Wes Welker needs 8 receptions to be #2 all time for most receptions in a single season. Welker (116) won't catch Harrison (143 in 2002), but could catch Herman Moore (123) and himself (123). He's 48th all-time for career receptions though, he's got a long way to catch Rice.

Sproles just needs around 130 yards this week to break the NFL single season record for All Purpose yards.

Crap, almost forgot about this. So, the only way I can tie is if Boogle loses all his and I win all mine. Let's see:

Cowboys vs. Giants - I have this as Giants by .5 so what the hell
Titans vs. Texans - Titans by 3
Chiefs vs. Broncos - Broncos by 3
Chargers vs. Raiders - Ick. I have the Raiders by 2 but as I said earlier, what the hell.
Wildcard - Yuckaneers at Falcons - Birds by a kajillion

Steelers win big too and I lose by 1.

Uh...why would this stop after the regular season...it should go through the playoffs

Playoff picks are usually a separate thing aren't they?

I know a lot of the time you pick your whole playoff bracket before the first game happens, not this week-to-week stuff.

I run that type of pool at my work. Strickly for fun, of course.........

Broncos
Chargers

Steelers over Browns

Giants
Titans
Chiefs
Raiders

That confirms it, Dallas is going to win.

I was going to pick Dallas.. but my hatred of them is far more than the Giants.

So basically, it didn't matter who you picked for this game, you're picking the winner to lose in the 1st round

And I'm also glad we have something football related in common
