SWTOR - Crafting Availability

Forgive me if I'm breaking some posting etiquette but this is my first post on GWJ.

I am Arnolde in IPP the sith guild on Keller's void.

I'm also a slice a holic. My main currently has slicing 400, Cybertech 400 and Scavenging 308. I will hopefully have Cybertech finished off soon.

What does this mean?

Ship Parts!!!

For space mission there are 5 main ship parts and they alternate between purchased from stores and crafted by cybertech.

Grade 1,3,5 = store bought 2,4,Purple = crafted.

Currently I can make all the Grade 2 and 4 and have the schmatics for the Purples.

What we need is someone who picked up underworld. I picked up cyber, scavange and slicing, and am always short the mulnine and stuff.

I'm getting close to 200 with Underworld trading. What do people need?

I'm with you, Rabbit. I'm leveling up my BH now just so I can get UW on somebody.

Natalya has the 2 and 4 recipes as well, although I'm not quite high enough level to make all the 4s. So if Arnolde isn't on I can help you out.

For the level 2 ship parts, all I need from you are the Mulinine. I have stockpiles of all the other mats and can easily cover that.

I got Underworld at 150ish, but favored slicing as of late.
However, with the patch notes already stating that slicing got nerfed, I might put more time into Underworld now.

Darn it all. I just picked Slicing on an alt to make some cash. Hope they didn't nerf it too hard.

Well, for all that the notes say it could also be adjusted to yield more for the medium boxes, but somehow I doubt that:

Slicing

Rewards from Slicing have been reduced to bring them into balance with other skills.
Adjusted incorrect values for medium slicing boxes.

Tried to warn everyone about the slicing nerf. It was drastically reduced last couple of betas but seemed like it was untouched at launch. Knew it was just a matter of time before they set it back.

Since I successfully avoided the beta, how did they change it? Do the missions fail more often or does it just generate less money from the boxes in general? So far, the money was pretty much secondary to me and the schematics a lot more interesting.

they drastically reduced the amount credits... i'm not sure aobut the schematics.

You guys that are posting your crafting stats really need to post your faction too; since there is no way to mail to characters of the opposite faction. Unless you can do private auctions or other things I don't know about.

It makes sense that it's the medium boxes. I had just gone from small to medium, and noticed my rewards going from "okay, there's a small but entirely reasonable positive feedback loop here" to "HOLY sh*t, I AM ROLLING IN CREDITS!"

Each faction should have their own thread, but on the Republic side we have our own spreadsheet.

Falkyn is pushing 350 in Armor. Speccing mostly the heal stuff above 35. Crafting Blues at all levels and some purples. Concentrating on purples for Lvl 35-50 Heal Spec Gear for Mercenaries. I can grind out some blue stuff for the Agents as well if necessary.

Cybertech here, I have the advance 10/11/12 mods and advance 10/11/12 armor sets if anyone is interested. Instead of using the planetary commendations. if anyone is in need. I've been able to keep up with progression by upgrading and updating most of the customized slots.

If you're interested in some rare or epic Endurance gems, let me know. The ones that I have are mostly light side (since I'm light side) but I've been dabbling and also acquired some reds. I also tend to level up Yellow as best as I can as well.

I can make hilts too but those were pretty much all Might until I hit 30, now I'm really only making guardian ones (sweet epic for Guardian 15 though).

My offhand stuff kind of sucks but I accidentally lucked into a prototype level 37 defense one (the green procced to rare on first try, the rare procced to prototype on first try. so happy).

Sorry, primarily just tank stuff for right now, I'll try to diversify once I hit 50.

Send Rantin a tell in game and we'll work out the best stuff for you and if I need mats (I will almost always need mats for the epic stuff, I go through my epic gems too damn fast).

While I can't craft a thing, I might be able to supply materials whoever wants them (preferably to level up a crafter quickly).
Who hasn't seen me spamming guild chat with the daily giveaways, may be in luck just sending a message or in-game mail.
I usually tend to keep my safe clean and might be out of stock, but if I know the general requirements, I can have my companions lined up to focus on a certain area.

Right now, I am at 400 Slicing, 400 Underworld Trading and almost 400 Archeology (should get there tomorrow).
As far as I can tell from vocal guildies, Underworld Metals are in highest demand, followed by Artifacts and then Crystals.
Luxury Silks seem to be almost in no demand at all (do we really have so few weavers?).

I there tend to focus on Lvl5/6 Metals first and occasionally throw in Artifact missions of the same rank.
To finance this, I usually run at least one Slicer who turns up lockboxes and the occasional Schemata which also go back into the pool.
Question about those is, should I sell the low level ones that won't go away while I am online or do you want me to hoard them for alts?

Not sure if that is applicable, but maybe we can throw stuff together to get some nice stuff crafted that most in the guild can profit from (i.e. cheap speeder, mods,..etc.)

Once they add a guild bank it will be a lot easier to keep track of this stuff.

Personally, I'd like to see a few of us do their best to max out a skill or two so we can concentrate on getting as many epic recipes as possible. That way it will be exceedingly easy to keep alts geared and then those alts could focus on gathering and money making.

But that's going to be a PITA to organize before we have a guild bank.

Since they already create a single area for every airlock, space station and space toilet, it should be easy to have something like guild cruise ships that might also link to FP's and offer stuff like guild banks.
