Thanks for giving spoiler freedom notification. I was going to hide everything in spoiler text.
Holy sh*t, Dyrus was a monster in the final. His Udyr was unstoppable. And you're right about the whole team being strong. They could let Dyrus split push, because 4 CDE were capable of pushing the five from Poland. And it was going to take two people to stop Dyrus, which would have made a 4 on 3. Total domination.
Thanks for all the links Fedora, some cool stuff there. Although Canada vs Poland semi final game 2 was some atrocious stream quality, it was a rollicking game of LoL. Some great back and forth high tempo action.
I've been listening to the latest State of the League episode. According to Doublelift (ex-Curse, now CLG AD), the whole team was just really unprepared and off their game when they lost to Curse in the IEM Kiev qualifiers. In fact, he kinda threw HotshotGG under the bus, mentioning that Hotshot pretty much screwed the first match himself when he forgot to check his key bindings and only realized during the match that his 'R' binding wasn't working. Uhh,... OOPS!
Ahhhh, i didn't watch them hence not knowing. without that context, Dlift mentioning it during the podcast just sounded like he was trying to find a scapegoat for the whole thing.
Huh, Against All Authority? I remember the name from Eve Online, pretty serious null sec corporation. I wonder if it's the same group.
Looks like there's one more qualifier for Kiev in SC2 and CS on the 18th and 19th of this month, and then the event Jan 19-22. No LoL on the 18th and 19th means I might actually watch some SC2 again; I've spent most of my recent esports viewing time watching LoL.
Also, A Picture of a Goose is currently my favorite team name.
They're doing it in scrims now so it's past the point of rumors so: HotshotGG is now playing support for CLG and Chauster is playing top lane
Any idea why the switch?

Hide your wife, hide your kids. It's LoL in the living room.
Chaox has a streaming banner on his stream, saying "IEM Premier starts at 1 pm."
Are NESL and IEM the same thing? Seems different to me, and I can't see anything about IEM on the NESL site.
Oh, but if I search for Intel Extreme Masters, the link about the tournaments takes me to the ESL site. I'm just trying to figure out the association.
<3 Fedora.
Dyrus > alles
TSM vs v8 was good.
v8 took the first game but they made bad picks in games two and three. Game three especially they just had really bad lanes. Ryze dominated all three games. Still there was some fun baron stealing shenanigans.
Chaox made a good point that Ryze is really good against AD carries. In a team fight, ADs often go for the AP carries, and in those games it took way too long to kill the Ryze.
Looking forward to seeing if Dignitas makes it out of the Loser Bracket, or if Reflx makes it out - they gave TSM a difficult time until the third game of their series.
And really looking forward to CLG vs. TSM.
Ugh, such awful play by TSM. Constant dumb decisions even with CLG not playing that well either. They always seem to totally fall apart against CLG.
Yep. TSM started off so far ahead in the first game, but there were too many bad plays. The OddOne didn't have great games; getting caught alone counter-jungling was the start of the first game falling apart.
I was watching Dyrus and Colbycheeze cast the games, and Dyrus was yelling to the rest of the TSM house about the Singed top lane pick against Kennen in the first game. It was a rough matchup.
I think you're right, CLG looked beatable, but TSM made too many mistakes.
