Orton is apparently saying he won't report.
The whole point of asking for his release was to go to Chicago, and Chicago wanted him.
Do you have a source for this? I wouldn't mind having Orton behind Hanie, but I'm not sure if the Bears should pick up that salary.
Saw this and loled.
NEW YORK—After noting the respectable performance of Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and the excellent record of San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh, the National Football League announced Tuesday it is actively seeking any and all Harbaughs currently not in use. "If we could find maybe three or four more Harbaughs, we could replace at least one of the Whisenhunts, Turners, and Sparanos we're making do with now," a statement from the league read in part. "The NFL is prepared to offer a hefty finder's fee to anyone able to locate adult male Harbaughs of decent condition who can speak English and identify a regulation football." NFL sources said the only person to answer the inquiry, an Africa-American male who became agitated when asked to produce proof of his Harbaughness, was almost certainly former Minnesota Vikings coach Denny Green in disguise.

Bears already added McCown, so he might as well report. Not sure Orton would work out well under Martz, anyway.
Suh has officially lost his "not a dirty player" campaign. I suppose he could blame it on Nickleback.
Yeah, that foul was the worst I've seen in the NFL by a wide margin. Not sure it would have been legal in UFC. Definitely wouldn't have been legal after the ref had already stopped the action. My brother suggested that the NFL might consider suspending him for the rest of the season, which I think would be appropriate. This certainly puts to shame the people who were defending him when he was standing over that injured player and mocking him.
Also, I guess Nickelback has dropped the premise that they are a hard rock band? Some really sweet pan pipes in that song, bros.
Suh is definitely going to be suspended for that. He was already in hot water. The rest of the season? That's probably too long. Haynesworth got 5 games for ripping off someones helmet and stamping on their face. I doubt Suh's offense comes anywhere near that.
Howie Long just said he was with Suh right up until the kick. So, he was with him when he was slamming the dude's head into the ground repeatedly?
Suh is removing all doubt that he is just another trashy thug getting paid to play a kid's game.
Clearly money doesn't buy class...
Hmm..clearly we have either football newbs here or just really young people that only recently have started watching the NFL.

Ladies and gentlemen, the diplomatic and friend-winning personality, Gamemuru!
So... I'm going to have to find a way to watch this 49ers game later. Any suggestions?
Just in case Nickelback wasn't unappealing enough to NFL audiences, this game has Enrique Iglesias?!?!

Hmm my point is simple. For some of us the NFL has become "sissified"

Seconded. I have NFL network at home, but I might be out of luck here...

I think Nickelback actually played live, while Iglesias was lip syncing, so ... Nickelback > Enrique Iglesias? Both were good reasons to pound down a couple beers.
No NFL network at my sisters house as well. I'm scrambling to find a Slingbox that is working. Mines fried right now.
firstrowsports.tv seems to have links to several streams. It's working for the current game even though that's obviously on my tv already. Seems like a good shot it will work for tonight.

Did you not see the play, or are you just being silly? It's okay to be silly! But it's hard to imagine you think that should be legal in football. Or any sport, really - again, would not have been legal in UFC.
On another subject, amazing TD catch by that Dolphins' receiver despite the Cowgirls' defender going full-bore with the pass interference. Can't believe he caught that!

Veetle usually has streams and many of them are HD quality.
I would have taken the Lions, so that is cool. Give me the Niners for tonight, and I will do the rest of my picks later.
And the 49ers defense holds in the red zone again.
75 yards taken away... for nothing. Gore had the block. Terrible.
I'm with Suh until the kick as well. Why the f*ck am I agreeing with Joe Buck again?
No suspension by the way. No need, he's out a game, hold on the suspension until he dips in the kicking jar again.
Oh there's the old Alex Smith...
call me crazy but I believe Suh when he says he didnt mean to stomp on the player.
Not complaining though on how it helped the Packers
Oh there's the old Alex Smith...
In fairness, he doesn't seem to be getting a lot of help from his O-line.
