Saints Row The Third Catch-All

Because that's how I troll.

That's how I misread your statement. But surprisingly, it still works well.

I found a forum post, elsewhere, that said one would have to pay to unlock no falling damage cheats etc. The list it had looked plausible, but I didn't see any real evidence it was true.

That sounds like someone stated their own speculation as fact. Happens almost constantly on GameFAQs.

More likely you'll need to buy that kind of thing with "respect," rather than actual money. They might give you the option to buy it with real money if you don't want to earn it in-game. I've seen that model a lot.

There's a "demo" of the character creator over on GameSpot. Registration required, but it unlocks through Steam.

EDIT: This thing is nuts.

You can do that. That is a thing that you can do.

And this is a trailer.

The clothes part is actually not as good as it was in 2, which in turn wasn't as good as it was in 3. I'm hoping that it's some sort of demo version and that the full game clothing system will be more robust and flexible. Or maybe they restrict you in some ways just for character generation and once you get out into the world you can do more.

That's the one I picked, actually.

Saints Row is so awesome, it bends the flow of time back in on itself!

tagging, will buy on Pc. Still debating with myself why should I pay 50$ for a game, when I have passed a few games of that value so far, and ended playing them 6 months later :S

Here's the character I just made: FreakyDeaky

I'm also wondering why you should pay $50, when you can get it for $40 at Amazon.com. Remember, it's a Steamworks game.

Give more money to the developer. Also, in my case, shelf space is a premium in my apartment....

What am I missing? I'm seeing a video from Spaceballs. Is that an in-game render that is indistinguishable from the original movie? Because that would be unbelievably impressive. Emphasis on the unbelievable.

They sell to Canada, and offer 3 more missions packs.. They call it a season Pass.. would Steam offer that as well? I'm not seeing it on Steam's page.

The salute being done in that video is an available in-game emote motion.

The Season Pass is available only at the official page but they said they're only giving it to the first 3,000 orders and haven't really made it clear just what we're getting for it.

Maybe you have to be logged in at saintsrow.com to see it. In any case, I took a screenshot.

Furiously clicking the Report Abuse icon.

What the hell.

I cannot wait to play this game.

I am both horrified and excited by this game in a way I haven't experienced since [insert mom joke here].

Looks like She-Hulk spent too much time at Sturgis this year.

The Initiation Station is on Steam as well now.

I like that the page for SR3/initiation station is region restricted, but bypassing that with http://store.steampowered.com/app/55... and clicking install steam just goes ahead and installs it.

Not my creation, but I thought it'd be a good demonstration of how flexible the character creation system is.

In twelve seconds time, I drop the dildo-sword to the sand at my feet, walking away. It's already lying there, twelve seconds into the future.

Hummm, just realize D2D is having a 10% off the regular price. But no mention anywhere it is a Steamwork game version.

I didn't find information that the game will be steamwork out of the box. Could you guys supply a link to reassure me?

I don't have a link, but I will point out that the "Initiation Station" thing is Steam-only, even though GameSpot advertised it before Steam.
