I’m not thinking about video games much this month, as I’m trying to do the whole NaNoWriMo thing (4550 words as of the writing of this paragraph!). Fortunately, there aren’t quite so many interesting games this week.
I like a horror game you can finish in two hours. Once a horror game goes longer than that, the feeling of the dread drains out and you’re left with an endless string of macabre fetch-quests with bad stealth mechanics.

I think it’s safe to say that you need patience to get into Monster Hunter Generations: Ultimate. Almost as much patience as you need to read the title.
Therefore I propose a test to you: Every time I mention the title of Monster Hunter Generations: Ultimate in the review, I’m going to type it out in full.
I’m not going to throw shade at Red Dead Redemption, even if it is basically Grand Theft Auto with worse shooting mechanics. Instead, here’s a list of notable releases for anyone out there who, like me, would rather play anything but the third Red Dead game.
